We agree with reference from Aerinnee. I don´t understand - how Bulgaria can be safe country to COVID. The hygiene in the hotel MURA BEACH was really terrible. Nobody shows us our room and when we found it, we wish didn´t find it at all. The hotel room is abslutely disgusting. Everything looked as if it wasn´t tauched for 50 years and had old dirt onto it. There was sand on the floor after the previous quests. The sink was clogged with sand and dirty water when we received the room keys. Incredibly. There was mold and rust everywhere. We didn´t choose this hotel. We travelled to Bulgaria for holiday with Czech travel agency "Fischer" and 10 hours before flight the travel agency change our hotel, becase thouse one,we choosed stay closed, because of COVID. I have never been to Bulgaria before and I never plan to do it in the future. ( Part of my family were - husband, boyfriend of our daughter - several times, our son in 2018 - Sunny beach - the hotel "SUN CITY"). Incomparable. We have never experienced anything like this while travelling anywhere in the world. They offers cocktails on drink menu ( paid, not included in all inclusive). When you want offer them ( and pay for them), they say - don´t have juice for cocktails. We booked 2 rooms for 3 and 2 adults. Our 23-years old son slept on a small extra bed for a 10 years old child in balcony door, measuring almost 190 cm. You can´t use safe in your room - not included. Staff enters room without knocking. If you point out to something, they will laugh in your face. The hotel MURA BEACH - our nightmare. If you want to spend holiday in a dirt, rust and mold, then the MURA BEACH hotel is the right choise. And pay a considerable amount for it. Not even 2* hotel, do not recommend to anyone. Even one star is too much. ( On Fischer´s website 3* ???!!!) After this experiece we will never plan to visit Bulgaria again in the future and probably never travel again with the travale agency "Fischer" ( Czech travel agency).

Response from Kliment Kolev, General Manager at Hotel Mura
Responded Oct 3, 2021
The last two years have been extremely difficult for the business, especially for the tourism, but nevertheless we try to satisfy the wishes of our guests so that they can feel good and have a good holiday. When you have booked the hotel and looked at the catalogs you have surely noticed that the rooms are furnished with only two beds and one sofa. If you forgot to read the information, then you have certainly looked at the photos of the rooms. It is your choice to book one room for three adults instead of two - one double and one single. However, if you had talked to someone at the reception, we could bring you an extra bed in the room, or we could come up with another option to make you feel more comfortable. When you wanted to buy a cocktail, it is possible that the bartenders did not have juice at the time, but this was an isolated case. And I am sorry for that. Everyone has the right to express his opinion, but our hotel is a three-star hotel. There are categorization criteria that we meet. Despite the difficult years, in 2020 we renovated all of the rooms with new furniture. This is appreciated by all our guests, especially by our most loyal. For a good holiday it is very important to be in a good mood. If we waste our time looking for small things, the vacation will pass without us being able to enjoy it. Thank you for your review! I wish you all the best!

We were there for 3 days this year, everything was perfect. Albena is a great resort, it is very well maintained, clean and nice flowers everywhere. The sand on the beach is perfect, there are a lot of parks nearby. The hotel is literary on the beach, the rooms are clean, food is great. Very well managed.

The visit started with nobody from the staff wearing face masks... okay Albena is supposedly COVID free, you can still protect yourself with mask, no biggie. the rooms are a bit harder to find as nobody shows you where your room is and the rooms are seperated by odd and even numbers even though its not marked anywhere. When you do find your room, you wish you didnt find it at all. The hotel room is absolutely disgusting. As soon as you open the room it stinks like mold and sewers, toilet had leftover dry pee from previous user and there was severe mold on the walls. Everything looked as if it wasnt touched for 40 years and had old dirt onto it. After complaining to the management they laughed into our faces and didnt even apologize or went to check the room only insisted that it was clean and that they saw it after it was cleaned (judge for yourselves). If you want coffee be ready to diy because the bartender only attends to solo payers and not all inclusive guests. Not to mention staff enters room without knocking and you cant even use safe in your room as it is not included so be ready to carry your valuables to beach or food. Was here on bussiness, would never pay for such room or spend a minute in it. Not even 2* hotel, do not recommend to anyone.

I would like to thank you for the wonderful experience at hotel Myra that we stayed in July! The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating! They went above and beyond to help our needs! We really enjoyed the team evenings when we celebrated Bulgarian traditional food or Seafood evening! The hotel staff was dressed accordingly and everything was arranged with taste! The food was very delicious! The hotel was clean and well kept! This is a beautiful place to spend your vacation and I would recommend to everyone who is looking for a safe place especially now in these times of uncertainty! Special thank you to Kliment and Yordan from Food and Beverage! You guys are the best! You made us feel home! Atanas from Front Desk was very helpful as well! Thank you for this wonderful experience! We will come back!!!

Avoid this hotel, hygiene-0, ants in the rooms, sheets and towels are not changed, umbrellas and sunbeds on the beach and parking spaces for 20% of guests. In the restaurant it is normal to wait 30 minutes for 2-3 pieces of grill or pancakes.
