Detailed Reviews
Well, service in Bulgaria is poor. Fridge was not working in our room, we asked 3 times to fix it/replace it and nothing happened. Water playground was turned on only 3 times, then we were told it is broken. No one was taking care of pool surrounding. Bar is ok, but they dont often know how to mix drinks. Rooms were nice and cleaned every day. But this is not 4* hotel at all!!!

Stayed with the family for a week. The positive side: cleaning ladies doing their job nicely. Rooms big enough, big beds. Really close to the beach.
Negative: one super rude bartender simply being annoyed only by the fact someone wants something, don' t you even dare to ask milk for your coffee... "No Milk" and a grumpy face as a bonus 🥴 (there were more things, that only to Illustrate). Poor restaurant, the meat was several times either undercooked (chicken just raw inside) or just hard. The same for halfcooked potatoes repeating everyday. Badly cleaned, cracked plates.
Pool dirty, switched on just twice.
Yes, Albena Is nice. But would not return to this hotel.

I want to thank the whole team of the Laguna Garden Hotel for the good service, for the variety of food, for the calmness and the great beach, for the good environment and most of all I want to thank the animation team: Ceco, Vicky, Moni, Marty, Sissy (there were more , but I forgot their names). We went home loaded with lots of smiles, good mood, great memories, several diplomas for winning games and a bottle of champagne. Thanks!

I would not recommend this hotel. First of all it’s allegedly four star hotel, yet bar and restaurant is only three star, the information about that is not provided anywhere! Never come across anything like that. Food every day the same, with small changes. Pool area is extremely poorly maintained with overgrown grass. No evening entertainment, kids entertainment virtually non existing. Unfriendly people in reception, speaks hardly any English, and not willing to help at all. Plus side, lads behind bar, and cleaning lady that was speaking even better English then a hotel manager.

I had a great time at Laguna Garden, 8 days and I have only positive things to say about this hotel. It is near beach with a great view from the room. The meals were delicios, the room was very clean, there is a beautiful pool and the staff is ready to help you with everything you need. I recomand it and I hope to return. 😊❤

Stayed in this hotel for about a week. The pool was great, very beautiful. Great location, was very close to the beach. Food was delicious and bar was good too. Fun animation, the kids had a great time. Will come again next year.

We had great expectations of Bulgaria due to all the hype over the last year. We went out with the hope of buying a holiday home as we had heard what good value the property was. The hotel was very clean and of a good standard for a 3 * hotel much better than that of the Greek 3* hotels. The beach outside the hotel was one of the most lovely beaches with pure white sand and beautiful blue waters. The staff were very friendly and the prices were very reasonable compared to the uk, £1 per pint of beer, £2 for a pizza and £2 for a whole bottle of wine though 3 times more expensive than outside the resort. The restaurant food was the worst food I had ever tasted and the resort food was just as bad. If you didn't like cheap cuts of meat stewed in slop you were in big trouble. This spoilt our whole holiday as my partner I love good food. We traveled the whole coastline looking for property and the houses were just not available. The prices were so inflated and nearly as expensive as Spain and Bulgaria is not up to Spanish standards. We felt very uneasy and there was someone around every corner waiting to rip you off. If you are thinking of buying property in Bulgaria my word of warning is DONT! I wish I had not wasted £900 on a holiday that was sub-standard. We also had all our duty free stolen from our case at the Bulgarian airport, when we contacted the Gatwick police they said this was very common as it was such a poor country so please put locks on your cases!!!!

We decided to go to Albena, Bulgaria for our family holiday this year as it was recommended to us by family as a great place to visit if you had children. We weren't sure which hotel to stay in but eventually picked the Laguna Garden Hotel due to location and facilities. We stayed all inclusive and found the hotel to be very clean and tidy and the food was great with good variation. The hotel staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. The animation team were absolutely brilliant and we couldn't keep the children away from them. They provided daily entertainment for the children and evening entertainment for all hotel guests. The hotel is in a fantastic location only a short walk to the beach through a rose garden. There is plenty to do of a night around the hotel and beach area for children, i.e. fairground type rides and playgrounds, and there are also bars and restaurants very close by too. We had a really fantastic holiday and our children said it was the best holiday they had ever had (age 5 and 8)! We would highly recommend both Albena and The Laguna Garden Hotel for a family holiday - Superb!!

I was with my family (son and wife).
Had to go to reception to get WiFi password, and then again to get a map (saw at some people on beach), why they don't give those things with they key from room?
Almost no parking near hotel (had to park our car in another's hotel parking).
Food was not the best (also not the poorest), most angry moment was when there was NO JUICE, and from juice machine (any juice) was water, i said to the guy next to it and got response "We don't have". And it was on second day, until we left there was no juice (just ice tea and simple water). Also it says "100% juice" but it's same sort of concentrated thing, far from a 4* hotel.
Lifts are crazy, even if you just press down button it stops (when people in it are going up) and they rage to you ...
Electricity in room is not working if you get out from room (there some sort of button with key in the room).
Also in our room was an uncovered electrical outlet, and i had a child with me.
Even tho on the so called "mini-bar" in the room is writed "Not to use as a fridge, you can rent a fridge on reception", on reception they said to use it. I cannot figured out how to get it work (that mini-bar), he don't froze at all.
Want to mention was bitten by dunno what in our beds (all of us) all days, was counting days to go home.
No water at bar, have to go to store everyday to get water.
Free drinks (in All Inclusive is just some bulgarian drinks ... ), are at bar (near reception), that means far from pool ... , disapointed ... None is cuting roses near pool, my son damaged his face in those ... What to say, terrible, sure will go to another next time.

He furniture is not so new and there is a lot of noise from the corridors. If you are really tired maybe you will have a good night sleep. Don' t expect mouth from some old furniture.
Also part of the poor service... the questions was not answer by anybody from the hotel... It means something, right?
