Situated on the beach promenade in the heart of Bulgaria's Albena Resort, Hotel Kaliakra Mare is surrounded by greenery and parks. Five minutes from the hotel is the main shopping street with many souvenir shops and entertainment outlets. All 148 rooms are air-conditioned, equipped with cable TV and balconies. Most of them have sea view. Guests can rent refrigerator for an extra fee. There is a safety box free of charge. The Hotel offers an All-inclusive vacation. The main restaurant serves buffet style meals throughout the day in an air-conditioned hall and on the large terrace, which overlooks the sea. The hotel is located on a sandy beach with a gradual entrance to the sea very suitable for children. The hotel room was small but clean, they changed the towels every day. Nice and friendly staff, tasty food and they offer gluten free food. Excellent holiday. We really enjoyed our vacation.

My daughter and I have been here before when the place was called Dobrotisa. We had good time then but spent couple of summers in Mura before we decided to try the newly named and updated Kaliakra mare. The price packet for 11 nights for really good on paper. We came earlier than check up time, flight was early, and the hotel checked us when the room was available. There was a lady that was very helpful at the reception. The room itself looks good, big TV, clean bathroom, a fridge and free safe for your valuables. We are on the fourt flor and have a sea view, partially blocked by trees. My concern was the food, because in Mura we had to fight with another hotel in the restaurant. Here, the difference is huge. Enough space for everyone and the food so far has been excellent. The beach is also great. Couple of negative comments. The the toilet in the bathroom has a number 1 and number 2 flash options but only number 2 is working. That is a shame, wasting water for only a wee. The other thing is the amount of plastic cups being used. What is the policy of Albena in dealing with the hundreds of thousands of those being disposed every season? Are they recycled or just tested as a normal rubbish? Overall the hotel is great and we would to come again, if the price is right.

We booked with Flamingo for our stay at the Kaliakra Mare hotel. We especially booked 2 specific rooms next to each other. They were even written on the reservation, because we went to this hotel multiple times. This time they disappointed us and gave different rooms at our arrival which we did not expect. The hotel itself was as always good , enough space in the room and near the beach.

It was awesome, the personal was amazing, and we had a great time. Food is also good. I liked the guy at the bar, his name is Pino, he's awesome, i liked his cocktails and was a great host. The rooms are clean.

I am pretty happy with our 1-week stay at Kaliakra Mare. The Beach is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the management is just perfect. Special thanks to Mrs. Venera Kirova, Mr. Galin Petrov and Chef Nikolay for the friendliness and professionalism. I will definitely come back next year!

Clean and perfect location:) Located right on the beach. My room was pretty nice and super comfortable. The service was on a high level. We had a wonderful time with my friends and enjoyed every single day:)

Im so exited from the fact that i met this Animation team from Dobrotitsa. I was having the best vacation ever with all of them - Marto, Dani, Presko, Ivan and especially DRAJKA AND NEDKO. They were with me and with other guests all the time we were having so much fun at the water polo and shuffleboard, beach football and voley etc. I will never forger Drajka and Nedko who spend their free time to go out with me. Next year i will come with some of my friends! Greetings to all the staff and to my best friends- animation team Dobrotitsa. See you next year!

We stayed at the hotel for the 2nd year and we are very happy. You can have 2 single rooms lonked with doors, so you have an appartment like 2 rooms with separate WC/douche. We are with 2 kids and it's always good to be able to let them in their space/room. I do not understand the person from Romania who is very unhappy...for the price you cannot ask luxery things...why he didn't go to Flamingo Grand...because it's too expensive...ot better why not going to Romanian sea side...because it' wors. Food is exelent...under all inclusive...you have big choice all the day long, so for the kids it's perfect. The pool is perfect, especially the kids pool. You have a very nice animation team of young people who are always ready to help you or play with your kids...for the same service in Club Med you pay a sky high price. So as conclusion - this is one of the best hotels in Albena, sine is small and there is no rush in the restaurant or in the pool. As people visiting the hotel, you have bulgarians, romanians and russians...the worst are the romanians...

Nice hotel, very clean but pretty small rooms, wonderful swimming pools, great location, great pool bar (had real espresso there!!!), good and diverse food. We loved the bistro by the swimming pool, the kids (and the adults too) went there for fruits and ice-cream and snacks all through the day; they were always grilling something either vegetables, or meats, it was always something delicious and fresh to eat there, that was besides the three main meals in the restaurant. The pool was cleaned everyday. Loved the animation team. If in albena, we will definitely return to the hotel. Location: just cross a narrow walking/jogging street and you were on the hotel's beach where there were free umbrellas and chairs. Nice thing about hotel room it had a safe. Not so nice: the room was rather small, we had a baby crib in the room, and the double bed was against the wall, still you barely had some space to move around, bathroom pretty small too, so was the little hall. But we didn't stay in the room too much, so that was fine... They also charged us with a phonecall we never made , it wasn't that much, so we didn't want to argue too much over it but it didn't feel nice. another thing we didn't like was that there was no FREE wi-fi, just for money ... All the family enjoyed the vacation there and we probably will return. the swimming pools were just a big hit with us :)
