Extremely clean rooms with daily cleaning service. Spacious rooms with great facilities Staff were really active and friendly. Surrounding grounds lovely with the pool and beach front Restaurant food was delicious
We chosen this hotel very last minute as we changed plan suddenly. At the bigenning didn't seems the place we were looking for, than we decided to extend another day, the surroundings, the food and the view make this place hugely recommended!
No doubt that the location is great. Near the beach, mostly tourists oriented. Still it seems like the place lack a good management and maintenance. Attended a wedding on their reception hall and all the time Air conditioning was poor. Food wasn't good. Buffet definitely doesn't worth their price.
The hotel is non-maintained, dirty and moldy. Rooms are smelly, dirty and worn out. Dirt and mold are scattered everywhere. In the hotel, in the corridors and in the dining room, the dogs wander and you have to be careful not to poke into their poops. Air conditioning, safe and telephone do not work in the room. When you turn on the ceiling fan, it can not be turned off. The hotel has a partial reconstruction of the pool and its surroundings, so everything is dug up, the building material is practically all over the garden. If you want to have a nice vacation, avoid the hotel with a big arch. Fortunately, we quickly left.
The reception area is very nice with a big water feature. The hotel was under renovation. I was given a room in a chalet by the worker's quarters as the main hotel building was under some form of repairs. As they could not get the repairs done on time, they allowed me to checkout without incurring extra charges.
We had our wedding in this hotel and it was nicely arranged. Special Thank to Mr. Sumithra and staff for great help in all kind. The food was absolutely delicious and the prices were by far the most reasonable we found anywhere. We were able to have everything we dreamed of and stay within our budget.
I went with a few of my colleagues for a day out. We booked a room as well. The room could not be locked. Neither from inside or outside. We were informed that "that's the way it is". The changing rooms by the pool have gone to the dogs literally. Few dogs were lounging inside the dirty, sand filled rooms. Food was average. Pool was good. There is a lot of room for improvement.
Amazing property with friendly staff. Large and well kept clean rooms. I have stayed in the superior rooms as well as the cabana to feel this awesome experience. My daughter loved the swimming pool as well as the beach and the views are just breath taking. We will surely be back again.
This was our final stop of 19 on our 3 month trip around the island. We had viewed the rooms a year ago so new what we were coming to. We booked the top room and were not disappointed, it was excellent, with a very comfortable large bed, plenty of storage space, and an excellent bathroom. The veranda with seating was also cool in the heat of the day. The staff were attentive and always willing to help. The only thing that let the place down was the restaurant menu which did not have Sri Lankan food in the evenings ,although they did honour their promise and supply us with SL breakfasts in great variety. The trains going by are a feature of Bentota as a whole and did not bother us.
room is not clean.Fan not working .we couldn't got towels till departure.room division Manager and housekeeper very unfriendly .bedsheets yellow coloured.hope management will take new housekeeper.to make a clean hotel.very difficult to get any housekeeping staff for any request.sorry to say worst hotel ever I stay.
