Highly recommend for couples! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Front office manager thilini was very helpful throughout our stay. I booked the ocean pavilion for my wife’s birthday and wanted to arrange some flowers. She helped to purchase and arrange all on time and gave us an upgrade too. Garden pavilion was very spacious and ideal for couples or family to have a relaxed stay. A place we’ll def visit again

My husband booked this for my 60th as a surprise for us and it didn’t disappoint. We had our own mini house with our own plunge pool and direct access to a front garden leading to the beach. There is a spa and gym and a large main pool also. We had our own butler Nadeera who was excellent and saw to our every need the three nights we stayed. You can eat in the bar/restaurant area or in your own little house was perfect peace and relaxation. Spotlessly clean and staff friendly and helpful. Whilst there we visited the Brief Garden in Beruwala, kaluthara temple, Richmond castle and the Fa Hien cave so plenty to do as well as relaxing by our pool. Would highly recommend as great value for money we stayed on 1/2 board basis and the set menu changed daily and had plenty of choice but there was also the a la carte menu which we used when some family came to visit for the afternoon and the food was excellent…

We stayed one night at Serene Pavilions this last weekend and fell in love with the place. Quiet, private and personal it made for a lovely and relaxing stay. The villas were lovely and spacious. The food was lovely and above all the staff were courteous and helpful. They were most accommodating with our dietary requirements and made special effort to personalize the menu according to our liking. Just 45 mins away from Colombo I think it makes for the perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway

We had our family trip here and it exceeded all our expectations! The private villas are spacious, quiet and clean. Gives the opportunity to switch off and relax. The private butler was super helpful and coordinated well with the chef to customize the menu to suit our requirements. Food was excellent! Beautiful place with beach access. Ideal for garden weddings too. The team lead by GM Mr Chaminda at Serene Pavilion went out of the way to make sure we had a great time.

Unfortunately the communication of the hotel reservations was very poor in order to make the booking. However after making the booking with an advance, the reservation manager informs me that the hotel will not switch on the generators during the day time power cuts due to less occupancy. This was very un-professional of them and very bad as well as I was the only guest in the entire hotel at that time and they didn't see it from my point of view where I am paying a big amount and giving them a business during these hard times. I stayed at the 'Ocean Pavilion' with the private pool and jacuzzi for 1 night with my wife and kid. The room, living room and bathroom were good, but you could see that the interiors and furniture are old. There is a sea view from the room. We also used the main pool of the hotel which was nice. The AC in the bedroom stopped cooling around midnight and was very warm. We were allocated a personal butler; Malith who took care of all our needs. I asked him to provide me a stand fan to the room in the morning and he did so. He also prepared our dinner at the pavilion and breakfast at the restaurant. The food was good and very presentable. The chef came and spoke to us at the table as well. I would recommend this place even though I had to go through some issues.…

The staff was very nice and friendly. Always helpful. Our villa was excellently clean. All area is very peaceful, good for relaxing. Especially we want to appreciate food which was delicious. Beautiful piece of paradise on the beach. You get a big Villa and it's clean. You can contact your own butler on WhatsApp for anything you need. For breakfast and dinner you get a menu where you can choose between and it's well prepared. There is not really anything nearby, when you stay here you also stay in the hotel. Our butler (Lashitha) was very sweet and concerned, everything we asked was fine! It was very quiet in the hotel, for such a nice hotel bit crazy!
