A very nicely decorate pub with friendly staff. I enjoyed a very tasty steak and everyone else enjoyed their meals too. Tables nicely spaced in these covid times; felt very safe and clean. I would not hesitate to go again

Signed in, did everything properly then left sat at a table waiting for half an hour and completely ignored. Young waiter very polite, the older lady completely rude and disinterested. Won’t be visiting again that’s for sure. Best avoided if you like good service and a smile - you won’t get it here!

room was fine, staff were amazing but on arrival hardly any beers were available. Some things were missing from menu for evening meal. breakfast was given to us in a box and consisted of 2 bananas, 2 croissants, 2 cereal bars and fruit juices and given to us the evening before. on the second night, even more things were unavailable for the evening meal and the breakfast only consisted of 2 croissants and juice. I know this was down as being complimentary but we were very disappointed. The staff were amazing and the food we did have in the restaurant was good. the staff must be very embarrassed with this situation.we know things have been terrible for everyone but i think a lot couldve been different.

Just had an amazing pork roast dinner delivered. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. Portion sizes aren’t huge but there’s definitely enough, I might just order a side next time if I’m extra hungry! Look forward to visiting the restaurant as have previously only been to the sister restaurant, The Anchor. Thank you :)
