Detailed Reviews
It was very strange to see this casino & hotel with nothing around that I know of. We came in rural routes so maybe there are places, we just saw Empty fields and fields. Pretty country drives though.
I loved the fact that the casino was smoke free. They have one room for smoking and it’s enclosed so you never get surrounded by smokers. Great idea! We won a little, then lost a little, but all in all just had fun playing the slots.
Staff was very friendly. Our room was comfortable, clean & quiet.
We ate a prime rib sandwich in the restaurant and it was actually delicious. We were not sure about ordering it, but another quest recommended it and glad we took his suggestion. We also had breakfast the next morning. You get a lot of food for your money. The only reason I didn’t give them an excellent rating is because we sat at our table thinking a waitress would come get our drink order, but no one ever did. We finally figured out that you have to go get your own drinks. All that they do is bring out your food. Suggestion to the restaurant is when you are paying the cashier before you sit down,,maybe she should tell you where the drinks are located and that you have to get them yourself. Would have saved our aggravation watching the waitresses pass us by all of the time. Other than this issue, everything was perfect with our stay

Try the new Top this Pizza by the lodge! Better than the cardboard pizzas from the other places. Crust is still soft 9hrs later reheated. By the slice or whole prices ok for the quality you get. Salads & soda are available but it's about getting your ninja turtle on!

This is usually a once a month weekend trip for my husband and I. It truly used to be the best in the area. We get a suite each time. We spend some cash and the goal is to relax. Getting there is no longer safe, especially from the north. The 3 times we have been there since the protesting started it has declined and the reason for my posting this. I figured they'd have this figured out by now. The Hotel once very nice is missing several of its "Normal Amenities." You will no longer find creamer for your coffee. The staff is stressed and it shows in their attitude. The lobby is constantly full of protesters camped out boasting loudly or complaining and so is the "office." The water dispensers on each floor for drinking water are usually empty, the protestors will sit there filling their jugs each day to take back to the camp. Its unfortunate, this is a business. A casinos/hotels priority to make money. I expect to get what I am paying for.
The casino itself has half as many gamblers as there use to be. You will not have problem getting a machine of your choice. Sometimes slots are tight, sometimes not. Most of the servers are friendly. Bartenders are usually nice. They have a late night menu at the bar, and a daily special. Both I recommend over the buffet.
Buffet:
Breakfast-overpriced
Lunch/ Dinner- OK
Seafood Spectacular-Good avoid the lobster bisque.

Breakfast at Feast of the Rock was a nightmare Saturday February 1st.
We waited nearly two hours for our food after ordering. While waiting we ran out of coffee an had to flag someone down to get refills.
When our food finally got to our table it was barely warm. What I think was the manager (he was the only one wearing a tie) offered to reheat it.
When we went to pay the guy with the tie compiled our meal. The only good thing was the money we saved waitin for our food. Nightmare at Feast of the Rock.

I went there with a friend for wheel of Fortune game. I ordered a few drinks vodka cranberries and the vodka was watered down. I ordered absolute vodka as always, that's all I ever drink and believe me I know when it's watered down after five drinks and you don't even get a buzz and there was no taste to it I thought I was drinking cranberry juice alone. What a shame those Indians are still up to their old tricks

Very pleasant overnight stay! Hotel check-in was very friendly and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. Dining facilities offered only a limited menu apparently due to short staffing, but food was delicious and more than I could eat. Casino was fun and one of these days I will learn to quit when I'm ahead! All in all a great place to take a break!

We make a stop at this casino every year on our annual anniversary trip to ND from Sask. Last time we went it was at the end of covid and lost of things were closed or understaffed. The service wasn't great and food options limited. What a difference a year makes! This trip was a total 180 degree flip. Lots of staff, very friendly and many food options. The Hunters Club was amazing service and food. The slot tournament was fun and everyone who entered got their shot at the prize. I tip my hat the the management to turn this place around from someplace we left thinking we might return, to a place we can wait to get back to. See you next year again.

We checked in and the overall lobby was inviting. I'm thinking to myself... Great first impression and the front desk person was kind and friendly. It all ended there... We rose up in the elevator and got off on floor two of the non-smoking section. Obviously - this rule isn't enforced. It smelled like stale smoke. We walked down the hall noticed how much water damage there was on the hall ceilings. We joked, well lets hope it stopped there and not in our room. Well... The joke was on us. The room carpet was old and dirty - mauve carpet ladies... That should tell you something. Then to our surprise - we found water stain ceilings and a very musty smell. If there was another hotel in a 30 mile radius - we would have checked right back out - and if we weren't exhausted by our long road trip. So in the morning, I mentioned how disappointed we were with the room condition to the desk clerk ERNESTINE and instead of saying, thanks for letting us know or even I'm sorry... The words out of her mouth were "I need to see your AAA card or I'm charging you the full price". I told her how much I appreciated her compassion - not! This woman needs to attend customer service 101! I have never wrote a review before - but people need to be warned. In my 40 years of traveling - this was absolutely the worst customer service experience I've encountered and I will be letting every review site know.

We paid $150 for a “King ADA Suite” a large, nice suite that had no king bed. In fact, the front desk told us there are no king size beds, they just call them that and they are in all 200 rooms (whether advertised as queen or king). The pillows are very hard, so not a very comfortable sleeping experience. The elevator that went up next to our 3rd story handicapped room was broken. We got in late after a 13 hour drive and found the room was dirty. Our dog even found candy left under a chair. In the morning I scrubbed the shower bench before showering and it dislodged hair over the bottom of the shower. There was thick dust on the top of all pictures on the walls, lamps, the dining area light fixture and even the metal supports under the coffee table. We complained, of course, in the morning and they sent someone to re-clean our suite and the supervisor promised to make it right. It was still dirty after being cleaned, my sink now had hair in it too (not mine). Also, hey have no covered parking – although they advertise this. I had called about the pet policy in advance and was told they will take any dog, just pay a fee of $75. Later in scrolling through the site I found the pet policy and it said we needed a crate, which they had not mentioned on the phone. We got to the hotel and the policy was “no pet feet on the carpet”, which meant placing your dog in a crate and rolling him in and out on a luggage cart every time he had to pee. This seemed crazy to me, as the place reeks of smoke and I don't think our pup walking outside is going to make this place any worse. We were offered a discount for our first night's stay, but unfortunately we had prepaid for several nights and no credit has yet appeared on our card.

Poor service. Dirty room, smoke filled without that many people in there
Bar food good, but not worth the trip. Machines really tight. Will save our money for trips to Deadwood where they are happy to see you

By threatening people with "Kill the Pilgrims" Marching with masks on and blocking traffic, throwing molotov cocktails, shooting at police, shoplifting, burning cars and trucks, destroying the "sacred" land they are camped on. They are paid protesters and no more.
Yes the pool is an indoor pool. On the small side. From what we've heard it's very dirty at this time, lots of protestors bathing in it. Yuk!!! Guess the whole casino is a pit. It's too bad, most people will never visit this place again ever.
