My husband and I only stayed here 1 night. Wouldn't stay here again. Would have stayed somewhere else had it not been so late when we checked in. Pros: *full sized Stove/Oven, Microwave, Fridge - cleanest part of the room. *parking available in front of room, *staff seemed nice, *free food bank items available in office Cons: Reeked of cigarette smoke and smoke came in through air duct from other rooms Obvious black mold growing around the AC unit Blood on the walls and floor confirmed with UV light Floor was very dirty
We were travelling through and stopped overnight. We had a four burner stove, oven and a full sized refrigerator. A nice sized kitchenette with a table and chairs for two to dine on. Nice sized room. The owner was very nice and informed us the place was originally from the 1950's, but burned down and was more recently rebuilt into the larger homey rooms.
We loved our stay here. The staff, management, and owners were all fantastic. It has a full four burner stove and an OVEN. Everything is newly renovated and clean. The bathroom is especially spacious. The wifi works great. Housekeeping was excellent and left us gifts. We travel for work and are in a different hotel/motel/extended stay every two weeks. This was one of the better places we've stayed. They have a weekly rate if you are in Bismarck for an extended stay. Many of our neighbors there were traveling nurses. It is very centrally located midway between downtown and major shopping centers. We needed a late check-out because of car problems, and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Overall a great experience.
Stayed on a trip from Washington to Wisconsin. One of the nicer motels I stayed in while traveling. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful when checking in, clean room, comfortable bed, big bathroom with huge shower stall, nice kitchenette. WIFI was one of the fastest in a motel that I've experienced. Was a bit noisy from traffic and such in the early evening, but quieted down by 9:30 or so. Would for sure recommend this as a stop over on a trip through Bismarck.
With our dog, had a pet friendly room. Pros: Pets allowed. Bed was decent. Shower was hot. Full fridge. Cons: Dirty - pet fur all over lamp on night stand, dirty night stand, people hair in bed, sink, shower, on bath towel. Dirty hand towel. Shower curtain bar falls easily. Non-smoking room smells like it used to be a smoking room. Full stove was great, but super dirty. Outside of fridge was dirty. We weren't told about the pet fee when we made our reservation over the phone. When told about it at check-in the woman waved it since we'd confirmed the price prior to arrival and it hadn't been included. We didn't have to fight for it. She immediately righted the wrong.
This was my home away from home, however, my room gets cleaned once a week, I had to buy my own pots, pans, tissue, garbage bags, clean, etc. The location is well... Loud! If you don't mind hearing your neighbors argue, having sex, playing loud music then this may be the place for you. I can say it was clean in the beginning and it stayed that way because I'm a neat freak. The walls are paper thin. It's over priced, but still looks nice. If you need an extended stay and don't mind human life going on around you then this place for you. Staff was very friendly, but it's understood that you are not to ask for anything extra not even more pillows. Get your own.
We stayed there on our wedding night it was right across the street from the hall. The room was cozy, comfortable and Clean. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. I would stay there again in a heart beat.
stayed for a week there. Great value and clean rooms. I asked for extra towels and was surprised by the fast service. Love that its close to downtown and main street. This is a great place to stay in Bismarck and I would do it again.
It was a great stay. the staff was more then great. If I had a problem they fixed it. Rooms are clean. They advised me where there are places to eat, where to see the sights and most of all. Where I can go to fish. I talked with the owner about hunting. He asked me what I like to hunt, then told me where to hunt at. I WILL be back!!!! Not to many people go out of there way these day to help people out.
Was a great stay! Rooms very cozy with full kitchens. Staff go out of their way to make for good stay. Prices are the best in town! Near big boy and Little Cottage two classic places to eat also across st. from Amvets.
