I’d like to start off by saying the stars I gave were for the staff and the common grounds. Great people who are friendly and accommodating. The main level and exterior grounds are nice as well, but that’s where it ends. The elevators are disgusting and look like they haven’t been cleaned in years and are damaged (see pictures). One elevator only opens halfway and almost shut on us as one time. The room that we stayed (331) had the worst repairs to the door frame (see pictures) that the owners should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this. There was rust around the shower drain and along the outside of the tub and half of the shower head worked and the other half didn’t. This bathroom needs to be gutted and re-done. The interesting thing is that we were told this room was renovated in the last year; look at the pictures; really?? We complained and were moved to the more expensive tower and this was better. Overall, to call this a boutique hotel as they do, is an outright case of smoke and mirrors. What a shame because there is such a need for a nice hotel in Wrightsville Beach. Stay away people unless you consider the tower that has the walkout balconies.

We visited this hotel during an off-peak time. The parking lot was empty except for a handful of cars. Sometimes this can be a warning sign. However we were pleasantly surprised by this gem of a hotel. The staff was very friendly, not snobbish like you see at some resorts. Our hotel room was clean and nicely decorated. We got a stateroom and it had a bathtub and a shower. I would recommend upgrading to this room type to get the bathtub and a balcony. Most of the rooms at the hotel do not have a balcony. There was even a tv next to the tub, so you could soak and watch tv. There are three areas of improvement. 1) we got charged a parking fee of $10. What? It is the low season, so why nickel and dime customers on a ridiculous fee? 2) There was a little snack/gift shop in the lobby. It would be nice to see a wider assortment of snacks. Items like candy bars and ice cream, maybe puzzles or board games. 3). Our shower had no place to put our body wash and shampoo. We had to put our products on the floor. That seems like an oversight by the folks who redecorated the room.

This very clean stocked unit had everything you could ask for while at the beach or anywhere. Staff was overly pleasant and helpful. Liked how the housekeeping staff knocked on our door 2nd day staying socially distanced and asked if there was anything she could get us. The ocean view was spectacular with wrap around floor to ceiling glass! While it was chilly outside couldn't help but go out on the huge balcony/porch and photograph the surfers. It was walking distance to many bars and restaurants. Place across the street Shark Bar don't let appearances foul you food absolutely off the charts!

My wife and I stayed here in December and had a great time. We were lucky the weather was mostly in the 70s during the day. We stayed oceanfront on the 4th floor and we spent a lot of time on our balcony enjoying the awesome ocean views. The pool was open but too cold except for a few brave kids. The restaurant was very good. We went for breakfast and dinner a few times. We could walk to town in 5 minutes and there was a few places to eat, drink and good coffee shop. Everyone who worked here was extremely nice and helpful. We would definitely come back and visit!
