I’ve lived in winston my whole life and have never stayed here until now. The Inn is beautiful.... and a little creepy. My best fiend loves ghost stories, and the Inn definitely has those! We requested to stay on the 4th floor. The Inn has been restored and kept so true to the original building, and that was my favorite part. I thought it would feel new but look old, and that definitely was not the case. The attention to detail was very impressive. We explored the hotel not know what we would find (hopefully no ghosts!) and there was no shortage of things to see. The staff was very friendly, and the location is great! 10 for 10 will go back.

Hotel's Favorite
Very quaint historic property with unique comfortable rooms. Under Covid, management allows rooms to sit 24 hours before entering them to be cleaned after a guest checks out. Very clean. Staff and management very friendly. Near downtown and several nice restaurants. Old Salem is next door for nice walks.

This a historic hotel that is perfect for a weekend getaway. The staff was courteous and very pleasant. We really enjoyed the exposed brick, tea set, and wardrobes in the room. The area surrounding the hotel is very nice with two great restaurants next door. The walk to downtown is quick and easy as well, or if you would like a short Uber. I would recommend staying here and I am looking forward to my next trip.

I called the hotel while already on route to Winston Salem, not expecting too much of anything. I was pleasantly surprised by the gracious front desk young gentleman that quickly managed to secure a reservation for me and my husband and sent a confirmation right away. And then we arrived ! What a beautiful site ! A hidden gem of architecture and ingenuity ! The room was airy and large size and had a small entrance hall. Then steps down to the sleeping area and then tucked away a small office ! the inner courtyard is lovely . Surprise after surprise . Oh, and clean, comfortable and did I say spacious ? And of course Sally , the sweet, friendly cat that showed up one day and never left . The cat is part of the hotel's charm and it just belongs. Highly , highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing through or intending to stay a bit longer .
