#2 of 42 hotels in Winston Salem
Rate includes hot breakfast, complimentary wine and cheese reception in the evenings, cookies and milk at bedtime. The Brookstown Inn was built in 1837. The Inn has the charm and ambiance of old-world architecture with all the conveniences of a modern conference facility. Its hallmarks of exposed brick walls and wooden beams enhance its Early American decor and help you escape to the charm of yesteryear. We are within a short walk of the restored 1766 Moravian village of Old Salem and convenient to the Winston-Salem business district, North Carolina School of the Arts, the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Arts (SECCA), Winston Salem State University, Wake Forest University, and Salem College. The property is also only a short distance from Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and Forsyth Memorial Hospital.

We stopped here on our way to South Carolina for just one night. The only regret I had about this place is that I did not stay more nights. It is such a cozy and romantic place. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. They are doing a wonderful job with taking COVID 19 precautions and keeping things clean. The outdoor patio was so beautiful and they even have a cute cat that hangs around. I would definitely stay here again.

We had to make this trip At this unusual Time to move daughter out of dorm . We have stayed a few times at Brookstown and always love it. It is charming , impeccable cleanliness and always helpful service . So at this time we were so grateful to stay in this beautiful and sweet hotel as we pretty much quarantined other than retrieving things from the college . We were lucky that Winston Salem has many fantastic restaurants around for our take out meals. Strange times so we extra appreciated this hotel as oasis.

I have been coming to the Brookstown Inn since the 1980's for business in over 30 years ago. And today my husband and I would not miss stopping there for any trip through the Carolinas! It is well worth the few miles off the interstate. Don't miss the Brookstown Inn!

I am an alumnus of UNCSA and Brookstown Inn is a staple for any trip to Winston. This is a place where my parents have always come and stayed when visiting me, and has now become an essential stopping point from our drives up and down the east coast from Florida to New York. This is a cozy oasis in a beautiful building that will give you the sweet comforts of home. It is in a perfect location, steps from the wonderful Camino coffee house, as well as a short walk from the major restaurants and buzz of the city. I would highly recommend Brookstown Inn as a place you must stay if you are in the Winston-Salem area.
