The staff is very friendly & accommodating! The setting was amazing. The grounds & buildings are unique & historic. Our particular room was on the 2nd floor, a bit stuffy. The bathroom was a bit small. Next time, we will request a remodeled room. The breakfast was wonderful! Overall, a good experience.

If you like Old Estates...this is a must! However, the odd side to our visit was the condition of the rooms. The Library suite we stayed in(211)was a fine example of an old paneled Library with the most comfortable bed ever. Be prepared though for an old outdated bathroom with old, slow plumbing?! With a little updating this could be...

Our experience at Graylyn was such an unexpected pleasure. From our orientation "tour" by the staff, to the wonderful roaring fireplace in the Pub, and the comfortable accommodations it was an extraordinary experience!

Lovely pastoral setting, great service and great food. Very relaxing. Beautiful grounds and interesting buildings. Rooms are old but well-cleaned and well-kept. I love the location between Wake Forest University and downtown Winston-Salem, thus affording easy access to both.

A great historic atmosphere. A little sleepy. Service was excellent. Rooms a little cold and dark but that can easily be fixed. Beds very cozy. Breakfast included and was tasty. I am sure it is really great in season.

My welcome included an upgrade to a beautiful room in the Manor House. The elegant accommodations and warm , gracious hospitality at Graylyn are 5 star . You feel like a guest of the Gray family. Breakfast had a myriad of delicious choices. It's always a treat to stay here. Can't wait to return!

Impeccable accommodations and service, and the grounds are a thing of beauty. We were met at the entrance of the Manor House by our butler, taken to our rooms, every detail was explained and highlighted. We enjoyed a private dining room with exquisite service for dinner, and the buffet breakfast, OH MY, was outstanding. Pumpkin pancakes, breakfast meats, fruit, pastries,...

The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The 46,000 square foot home/ hotel was amazing and had so much history! We enjoyed walking around and looking at all the history and craftsmanship throughout the property. Dinner and breakfast was yummy. The beds in the gardeners cottage were comfortable and everything was very clean. We loved the huge towels as well....

Went to a wedding in Winston Salem and stayed at the Graylyn- as the wedding was At the Graylyn. Loved the character and beauty of the estate- inside and out. The service is EXCELLENT. We loved Julio- I hope I have his name correct- our bartender in the cool cellar. The employees were genuinely warm and kind. Ed, the bell...
