A hidden jewel in Winston Salem. Perfect for couples, families or a group of friends. Such a beautiful estate that allows guest to truly experience the history, not simply look at it from behind a rope.

Beautiful Castle like setting- wish we had been there longer to explore everything! Staff was helpful and accommodating. Very comfortable beds! Kids really enjoyed the free ice cream:-) We were visiting my oldest daughter at Wake Forest so the location could not be beat!

Old world charm with new world convenience. Great place for business or pleasure. I was there for a work event and loved the place. The staff were excellent. Extremely friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and the residents are too. I will likely be returning with my wife for a weekend away.

Lovely historic estate with enormous charm and extensive grounds. The service was excellent and without peer. We stayed in the Mews. Our room was small but well appointed. Ask to see newly renovated rooms in main guest house.

Excellent place to stay! The staff was very catering and friendly. The breakfast offered each morning had excellent food with made to order omelettes. The landscape was gorgeous and peaceful. We took a walk one morning and the leaves were falling. A memory that will last!

Thoroughly enjoyed the lodging, food, and magnificent grounds at Graylyn. The tour of Graylyn was one of the best led tours I've experienced. Friendly, warm, and informative. Very pleasant stay. I would recommend Graylyn for a relaxing and overall enjoyable experience.

Granted we visited over a holiday weekend. The staff in the main house was rude and condescending about Thanksgiving dinner reservations which we did not even ask about. We only wanted to eat at their grill and were told 4 different times when they opened which were all different than what their website said and what their information book showed....

Our family has been coming up to Winston Salem for 20 years, staying at a variety of hotels. First time at Graylyn. Lovely grounds and building, superb food and service, one huge black mark. We were hoping to sleep in and enjoy a relaxing morning - but workers updating the main building started banging at 8 something, directly above our...

For such a beautiful and expensive place, the customer service and organization was disappointing. Check in took way too long! Once we were finally able to get someone to assist us, they couldn't find our reservation for awhile and then we were given a key to a room that was already occupied. That was a very uncomfortable situation! The entire...
