We will definitely stay at this location again. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Everything was spotless and our room was very comfortable. Coffee, tea and cookies were available for an evening snack. I asked how long this hotel had been there and was surprised when told it was all updated in 2016 - you would have thought it had just opened. The breakfast was very good. We are pleased to discover this location.

I booked a night at this property because it stated on the website that it is pet friendly. There was no mention of their pet policy or fee. Also, there was no place on the booking page to indicate that you would be checking in with a pet. Upon arrival and check in, I informed the desk clerk that I had a dog. She pulled out a “Pet” document and had me sign it. I was not given a copy and the desk clerk made no mention of a pet fee. A little while later my credit card was charged an additional $50. I returned to the front desk and asked the desk clerk about this. He said it was the pet fee. I said that I was not aware of a pet fee. He said it was on their website. I returned to my room and scoured their website for any mention of a pet fee. I could find nothing. I returned to the front desk and asked the desk clerk to show me. He could not. While he was searching the website, another employee (maybe the manager) said it was on the “Pet” document I signed. SERIOUSLY! So it’s Fairfield ‘s policy to not inform a guest of an additional charge until they are checking in and committed to staying at their property? Also, had I known of this charge I would of booked at an inn in a more convenient location. Other pet-friendly inns in the area clearly stated their pet fee on their websites. In conclusion, if you must stay at a Fairfield by Marriott with a pet, be aware that there will be a hidden pet fee added to your bill.

Stayed in Winston for a friends birthday and really enjoyed the hotel and it’s amenities. From check in and throughout my stay. Paul was great. Funny, knowledgeable & made me feel like a vip and not just a guest. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone!

I was traveling through Winston Salem for work and needed a place to stay for a day or two. Paul at the front desk was very polite and efficient at the front desk in getting me checked in. Often times I’m not greeted in a friendly manner as I travel and Paul completely flipped that around. My room was clean and quiet and I just had a great stay overall. Thank you Paul and Fairfield Inn, you’ve earned my business for good.
