Taylor house Inn is the perfect place to stay in Wilmington. Its (original!) Victorian atmosphere, the superb breakfast, truly homemade with care by Scott, and the fine taste in the bedroom's details, made us live a unique experience. Scott is a great and qualified host, with a nice sense of humour and attentive to all our needs. It was a... More

My wife and I spent last weekend at the Taylor House for a romantic anniversary weekend. Nicely located on a quiet neighborhood street just blocks from the Wilmington downtown and waterfront. The house is spectacular. Our room was very spacious and well appointed. We had a private bath adjoining our room. Breakfast was superb. I recommend the Taylor House for... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night last wekekend. We were greeted by Scott and truly felt welcomed and as though he must apply a personal touch to every guest experience. Scott pulled out a city map and highlighted things to do which would interest us, making notes for us as he went. He made recommendations for dinner... More

This was just the perfect place to stay. The rooms were beautiful, the breakfasts were delicious and our host (Scott Clark) was so gracious and helpful. The location is perfect to get to the River Walk and great restaurants. Not to mention reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay there again.

Simply the best! This B&B is well maintained, very clean and historically decorated to properly reflect the Victorian era. Set in a quiet pleasant neighborhood within walking distance to historical downtown Wilmington River Front Walk where you'll find plenty of restaurants, stores and mansions to tour. The owner (Scott) greeted us and took the time to orient us to the... More

We had a great visit at Taylor Inn back in July. My husband and I went for a weekend getaway. We are vegan and Scott, the owner, was able to accommodate us at at breakfast (and it was delicious!). We enjoyed morning coffee on the porch as well. Beautiful home! Would return.

Scott Clark was at the Inn to meet us and show us to our rooms. He took a lot of time telling us about the town as well as some very nice eateries. His recommendations were very good. Scott's breakfasts were very tasty and his presentation was first class. The Inn was well maintained and the "Love" suite was spacious,... More

We recently traveled through Wilmington on our 'possible retirement spot tour' through the southeast. Not sure how I stumbled on this gem on my phone while in route, but am so glad I did. Upon arrival our gracious host Scott was kind enough to spend time giving us a great orientation to the area. (Also, after a long, hot day... More

We stayed in the "Love" suite which was spacious, nicely appointed, and quite reasonable. Innkeeper Scott was an excellent host and spent considerable time going over things to see and places to eat in Wilmington, as we had never been there before. Breakfast was delicious! Overall the experience was quite positive and we will stay there again the next time... More
