We stayed in the "Love" suite which was spacious, nicely appointed, and quite reasonable. Innkeeper Scott was an excellent host and spent considerable time going over things to see and places to eat in Wilmington, as we had never been there before. Breakfast was delicious! Overall the experience was quite positive and we will stay there again the next time... More

We stayed at Taylor House for a week on a holiday from Wales UK and found Scott to be a first class and entertaining host. His local knowledge of Wilmington, North Carolina beaches and surrounding area certainly added to our enjoyment of the area. The house is full of character and Scott brings imagination to his breakfast table, he is... More

My wife and I have stayed at the historic Taylor House before, had been looking to return for quite some time, and stayed there for the July 4th w/end. We’ve stayed in the PEACE Room every time, we requested it, and like that room. Prior to discovering Taylor House, we’d stayed at other places, our opinion however, if you’re going... More

Tucked away in a tree-lined neighborhood is this late Victorian house. The owners live on site, are very gracious, and the breakfasts are a wonderful to start a day of touring Wilmington. The owners can offer good restaurant choices, as well.

I have stayed in the Taylor House Inn for business and pleasure for over 10 years. I love the location of the Inn and the rooms are some of the best I have stayed in. Scott has always been pleasant and willing to provide information about the area. I highly recommend this Inn. It is peaceful and the breakfasts are... More

The Taylor House Inn is our go-to B&B in Wilmington for over 10 years-- excellent accommodations, superb hosts and spectacular breakfast. The location in a quiet neighborhood very near the downtown Wilmington is perfect!

I would call myself an experianced traveller and also someone who has stayed in 100s of places. Naturally there will be places that are not up to standard. I have had over 80,000 readers, I believe myself to be fair and give fair honest reviews. But I am sorry to say this host is the most rudest person and in... More

This is truly an unfortunate review for me, the innkeeper of The Taylor House Inn, for this is not the way this two-night stay happened. There are two sides to every story; theirs and the truth. This is my side. I did receive an email from this couple looking for a two-night stay. She informed me that they did not... More

Unfortunately it was very cold the weekend of our stay....I mean REALLY cold..February!! The house is very dark and cold, the bedroom was roomy, but COLD, even the other couple went out and bought a space heater for their room. The tub was an old footed one with some weird gunk stuck on it to keep the faucet connected to... More

My wife and I visited Wilmington for the first time the first week in June to celebrate our 57th wedding anniversary. We stayed at the Taylor House B&B and were overwhelmed by the charm and hospitality we found. We stayed in the "Love Room," which had a king sized bed and very functional bathroom. We were treated to 3 delicious... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Taylor House. Very comfortable bed and and lovely room. Complimentary sweet tea really hit the spot in the hot afternoons. The breakfasts were wonderful as well. Host Scott helped us to feel right at home. Would definitely visit again!
