We chose to stay at Angie's because we were meeting our good friends and wanted to stay together in a B&B instead of an airbnb. We stayed 3 nights and throughly enjoyed Angie's hospitality, her stories and her breakfasts. Angie is a well accomplished and a remarkable woman who is very giving and so very friendly.

The B&B is furnished to the hilt and we enjoyed having our happy hour times outside under the covered patio. We felt so welcomed and at home.

Angie also has a restaurant named after her husband, Chris, who bakes delicious greek desserts.

Eppy, Angie's daughter, was also very helpful when booking the 2 rooms we needed.....she is a hard worker and helps manage things at both the B&B and the restaurant. She is a sweet and warm person just like her mom.

If you are fortunate enough to stay at Angie's you will not be disappointed.

Angie and Chris treat you more like family than guest in their home. We had a wonderful visit at this B&B in Wilmington. The rooms are a nice size and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and full service (not a buffet with just bagels or danishes like some B&Bs). You can tell that Angie and her family take pride in providing you more than just a comfortable room, but a memorable experience. The location was close to the riverwalk with all the restaurants and right off the main street so easy access to everything we wanted to see while visiting Wilmington. Angie gave us lots of advice on where to go. We could have easily just stayed there and talked to her all day. She is so nice and we loved hearing all her stories. We hope to return and see what else Angie makes for breakfast. Every day it was something new and we enjoyed it!
Thank you Angie and Chris for your wonderful hospitality!

I was in Wilmington and needed to stay a couple of extra nights and chose to stay at Angies' because it was so convenient. It turned out to be a great choice. The room was comfortable and had its own private bath. Breakfast was outstanding and very filling. The best part was Angie herself. She could not have been nicer and was great fun to talk to, and twice she was kind enough to take me to where I needed to go because I was without a car I will definitely stay here again when I come to Wilmington.

Arrived at Wilmington Saturday evening all hotels full, stumbled by chance on Angies, just one of life's experiences to have stayed in a wonderful house and to have met a lovely and warm family who own it. Just a short walk or taxi ride into the lively centre of Wilmington, we travelled as 4 adults and chose 2 adjoining rooms, very well equipped and the bed gave us the best night sleep so far on our vacation, a great breakfast cooked to perfection by Angie (mother), very much a shame we did not stay another night. We would love to revisit and stay again with this family, thanks to Angie, her daughter and Amber xx

We just left our new friends, and had to share our experience. Angie and Chris, the owners, are lovely, friendly, kind, and generous. We shared their home for the past three days and had the best, most peaceful sleep we've had in some time. Breakfast, cooked to order each morning, was delicious. Can't wait to return!!

Angie is the most welcoming hostess that you could ever want to meet. Her Greek heritage, love of hospitality and great food makes this feel like home away from home. She is a caring other mother. The furnishings throughout the home are interesting, and speaks to the history of the area. The parlors are comfortable, well appointed, and are great for sitting and reading.

We wanted to celebrate our one year anniversary at a quaint B&B and boy did we pick the right one. We called ahead to let them know we would be arriving late and were more than happy to accomidate our late hour. Angie greeted us at the door and we felt like we visiting a long lost aunt. She is funny and down to earth and let us pick our room as we were the only guests staying Saturday & Sunday. Angie brought us champaign, fruit and a cheese tray when she found out it was our anniversary. She was full of fun stories and we enjoyed listening to her tell us so many fun stories of her family and her life. She made us breakfast Sunday morning at the hour of our choosing and it was fantastic. She told us what to visit and where to go and she was right on. She owns a restaurant that is open Mon-Sat, Chris's Restaurant and gave us the option of going there Monday morning. The greek omlet was the best my husband had ever had and I loved the pancakes. We enjoyed our stay so much it was hard to leave. Angie and her family are so warm and outgoing they would give you shirt of their back. They are truly one of the nicest families we have ever met. We plan on keeping in touch and if you get a chance to go to Wilmington, stay with Angie, it will be an adventure.

We stayed 4 nights while house hunting for an upcoming move. This was our first bed and breakfast. What a great experience we had. Angie and her daughter Eppy are the ultimate hosts and great people. They welcomed us into their home and made us feel welcome. Full of knowledge about the town of Wilmington and surrounding areas. After 4 days we fell like we have some great new lifelong friends in Wilmington.

The house was warn and inviting, full of history and charm. Beautiful chandeliers, hardwood floors, and the wonderful creaking floors of a turn of century home. Room was comfortable with a private bath. Angie is a wonderful cook. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Some of the best ham I have ever tasted. Fresh fruit and great coffee.

To say thoroughly enjoyed our stay is an understatement. Go, enjoy and have a great time.

We were so happy we happened upon this amazing house and that it was reasonable too. Angie knows a lot about the area and is a unique personality (born and bred southern with Greek roots). She gave us a sandwich when we arrived and some muffins to take when we left as well as a wonderful breakfast. The house and grounds are one of a kind. Would highly recommend this bed and breakfast (and we have stayed as a lot of them)!

We had a very relaxing stay at Angie’s. We felt like we were in a mini-Biltmore. The house is a Gorgeous Victorian era brick mansion, furnished with interesting and beautiful period pieces and a host of eclectic art and knickknacks from every age.

Angie, a restauranteur and caterer, prepared delicious breakfasts for the guests. The table was nicely set with pretty china and flatware. And she was willing to adapt to her guests dietary wants and needs.

Our fellow guests were a mother/daughter pair escaping Chapel Hill for a couple of beach days. Mom was originally from Azerbaijan and worked at Duke University, which prompted some very interesting conversation. Of course, this is why the B&B experience is so worthwhile.

Don’t hesitate to choose this place.
