We chose to stay at Angie's because we were meeting our good friends and wanted to stay together in a B&B instead of an airbnb. We stayed 3 nights and throughly enjoyed Angie's hospitality, her stories and her breakfasts. Angie is a well accomplished and a remarkable woman who is very giving and so very friendly. The B&B is furnished to the hilt and we enjoyed having our happy hour times outside under the covered patio. We felt so welcomed and at home. Angie also has a restaurant named after her husband, Chris, who bakes delicious greek desserts. Eppy, Angie's daughter, was also very helpful when booking the 2 rooms we needed.....she is a hard worker and helps manage things at both the B&B and the restaurant. She is a sweet and warm person just like her mom. If you are fortunate enough to stay at Angie's you will not be disappointed.

I was in Wilmington and needed to stay a couple of extra nights and chose to stay at Angies' because it was so convenient. It turned out to be a great choice. The room was comfortable and had its own private bath. Breakfast was outstanding and very filling. The best part was Angie herself. She could not have been nicer and was great fun to talk to, and twice she was kind enough to take me to where I needed to go because I was without a car I will definitely stay here again when I come to Wilmington.

We had a very relaxing stay at Angie’s. We felt like we were in a mini-Biltmore. The house is a Gorgeous Victorian era brick mansion, furnished with interesting and beautiful period pieces and a host of eclectic art and knickknacks from every age. Angie, a restauranteur and caterer, prepared delicious breakfasts for the guests. The table was nicely set with pretty china and flatware. And she was willing to adapt to her guests dietary wants and needs. Our fellow guests were a mother/daughter pair escaping Chapel Hill for a couple of beach days. Mom was originally from Azerbaijan and worked at Duke University, which prompted some very interesting conversation. Of course, this is why the B&B experience is so worthwhile. Don’t hesitate to choose this place.

We came to Wilmington and needed a place to stay. Staying at Angie's became more than a place to stay but a delightful part of the trip. The accommodations were great. The amenities first rate. Breakfast was delicious and Angie and her daughter Eppi were gracious hosts. Angie is a treasure trove of lovely energy, delightful stories, and her opinions on everything are absolutely free! Location can't be beat to downtown which is really fun (day and night!)

This was a nice, comfortable B&B. The room was nice with a private bath. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We were there on the weekend and the breakfasts were wonderful. Angie was a terrific host and it would be worth staying here just to meet her. I know where I'm staying when I return to Wilmington.

We spent the weekend at Angie's and had a wonderful time. Angie's was warm and welcoming just like being at home. The rooms were beautifully decorated in old southern style. Everything was clean. We ate family style in the dining room. The food was wonderful especially the waffles. Great location easy to get to downtown or the beach. We would definitely go back again. Gray and Mary

This B&B is close to the beach and to downtown Wilmington. This was my first time ever staying at a bed and breakfast. I must first say that I am NOT a breakfast person, but for my husband it is his favorite meal of the day. Hence I booked Angie's. I loved how funny and out spoken Angie was during our stay. I have to say that I think B&B is not for me though. We picked the Madison room which had 2 beds. We slept on only one bed and even though it was a double/queen it really wasn't big enough for my husband and I. Another couple felt that their bed was a full and not big enough either. So if you usually sleep in a king or queen I don't think you will find the beds big enough for two. The shower in our room was a very small stall. I was able to turn around in it, but barely. My husband who weighs 230 could hardly take a shower. I am not sure what I was expecting but it is something I will not try again.

We have wonderful memories of our stay at Angie's B&B....Angie and Chris made us feel completely welcome and at ease....We loved the gracious house, expertly decorated with lots of antiques....The gardens, yard and porch are inviting....The room was quiet and comfortable....Breakfast was delicious....Conversations with Angie and her guests were delightful....It certainly was far superior to staying in a hotel....We will return some day!....S&P

We were thrilled with the service we got at Angie's. The one on one with Angie, the owner and her daughter was great, we felt like family. The breakfasts that she cooked were wonderful, she even asked if we had any special dietary needs. We were the only guests, yet we were treated with attention and kindness from the moment we arrived until we checked out. If you like old homes with amazing charm in the historic district of Wilmington, this is your place.

We just left our new friends, and had to share our experience. Angie and Chris, the owners, are lovely, friendly, kind, and generous. We shared their home for the past three days and had the best, most peaceful sleep we've had in some time. Breakfast, cooked to order each morning, was delicious. Can't wait to return!!
