My husband and I spent two nights at this fabulous little gem of a place. We were visiting the Biltmore in Asheville, but wanted to stay in a place with some atmosphere. The Waynesville Inn was perfect! It's about a half hour drive to the Biltmore but totally worth it. Our room was in the Fairway building and yes, the...

The Crown Jewel of the Waynesville Inn was the staff. From Corey checking us in to Jen serving us in the Tap Room, to Joy, serving us in the dining room to the BEST omelet maker, David, to the gracious ladies that serviced our rooms...the staff couldn't make a better impression or serve us better. The room we had was...

Nice location. Our room was in the main building. The room was outdated and they turned off air conditioning because it was Fall. They told us to open the windows. Very few oulets to plug in phones, etc. Ice machine was broken. We paid a high end rate for an outdated room. Staff was very nice but only 1 waitress...

We spent 2 nights on a Groupon deal for mountain view room. We had a nice room facing the golf course and mountains in the Golfview building, The room had a small fridge and microwave. The views fro the balcony were spectacular. The free breakfast buffet, with an omelet station was excellent. The staff were very friendly and were always...

We used a Groupon for this place, The price was right for a two day time of relaxation. The room was okay. The view was that of the golf course but sitting on the balcony porch was rather awful. There was a drink bottle with discarded cigarettes in it on our balcony porch. As we looked out, it was obvious...

My wife and I were wanting to get away for our 46th anniversary and found a great Groupon for the Waynesville Inn. It is a 1920's hotel and golf resort that has been kept up well. We stayed in the golf wing with a glorious view of the course and the mountains behind. The room was very comfortable and clean...

Older hotel, but the ambiance is so great. The golf course is just a joy and weather this time of year is perfection. I would say unless you go the B&B route this is the best place to stay in Waynesville.

I waited till the last minute to find a hotel in the Smokies in October on the weekend. I thought I was going to pay out the yin yang until I found this hotel. It was surprisingly reasonable. I booked it and then worried I was going to be staying in a roach motel. It turned out to be quaint...

Nice hotel with great service. The breakfast they serve is wonderful and we had a good dinner at the hotel restaurant. We stayed in a golf view room but wish we had stayed in one of the rooms in the main hotel because of its charm. Our room was not as clean as we thought it should be. The hotel...

stayed in historic room! Outside security lights on all night-drapes not sufficient to keep light out. We used blankets! Our room was over the kitchen-the noise started at 5:45 am. But the staff was great, the views awesome, the omelets for breakfast yummy. If you go, ask for golf view rooms, not historic.
