We have stayed here before, and it's a great locale, near entrance to Blue Ridge Parkway, which takes you to Asheville one direction, and Maggie Valley and Cherokee the other. Before we had stayed in the 'golfview rooms' which are newer and spacier and have extra seating area and microwave and fridge. This time, we stayed in a 'historic room'... More

A friend and I stayed at the Resort because we went to the Jamey Johnson Concert in Cherokee the end of August. When we arrived we were told they didn't have our reservation. We stated that we booked it online and gave them the confirmation number. They proceeded with our reservation and put us in a room with a balcony... More

I stayed in one of the "historic" rooms which seems to be code for rooms that have not been updated from the early 70s. The bedspread was thin and did not match the other decor. The carpet was a funky color pink. The bathroom had dated tiles, an old tub and a beat up vanity. The entire room, including the... More

Nice, underrated hotel that could use some updating but is just fine to stay at. I'm sure in it's day, it was crème of the crème. It was clean, quiet and we would stay here again. Hotel service at front desk wasn't overly friendly and they were not super courteous but I didn't really care. Breakfast was included in the... More

The rooms at this Golf Resort are a little dated, but it looks like they are trying to update. The golf course is beautiful and was packed when we were there. The staff is nice and the breakfast was awesome! I purchased a groupon and was satisified for the amount I paid. Nice sitting area downstairs with fireplace. There is... More

After our very pleasant Waynesville Inn stay a year ago, my wife and I stayed again for a quick anniversary getaway ...and upon learning that the property allows pets to stay, we brought our small dog. There are rooms in a nearby auxilliary low rise building set aside for guests with pets. The location allows easy access to your car... More

There are (3) 9 hole courses on premises. All were well maintained and had pretty mountain views. The room that we stayed in was in the wing over the kitchen and unfortunately, the kitchen staff comes in around 4:30 am and makes enough noise to wake the dead. The rooms are clean, but old and not updated. It's sad, because... More

This was our second stay. The rooms are kind-of old and not updated much...but they are clean and reasonably priced. The best thing here for us (we didn't golf)...the breakfast. It is wonderful! Lots of variety...omelet station, cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, fruit, bacon, bagels, etc. It is the main reason we stayed here again.

Spent two nights at Waynesville Inn while we explored that part of NC. Room overlooked the golf course and had a small balcony. Price included a breakfast buffet....their made to order omelets are not to be missed! Great bargain when you all you want is a place to spend the night.

We stayed for two nights as we toured and hiked the Blue Ridge Parkway near Asheville. The room was as advertised but could use some additions such as a fridge and a power strip to plug in cell phones. We did not have a balcony but I'm sure that would have been a nice addition. The pool is small but... More
