This is an older property that is well kept. It is spread out with multiple buildings over a large area surrounding the golf course. The dining and lounge are located in a central building. You can choose from mountain or golf course views.

After finding out that my reservation had been mysteriously canceled at another inn, I called the Waynesville Inn, Golf Resort and Spa. It was so nice to hear a friendly voice on the phone after dealing with the person at the other inn.

I didn't stay in the cottage room but from everything else I experienced I wouldn't stay here. You can just tell whoever owns the place stopped caring a long time ago. I mean there were little things I noticed that could be made nicer and nobody cares. For example, the wood rails on the motel exterior could be sanded down and stained for a little of nothing. The hearing and a/c is broken and has been for a long time, go read other people's reviews, all complain about the same issue for over a year!! Do yourself a favor and check out places on the airbnb app, stay in one of them instead and go play golf at the Grove Park Inn. I think it'd be a much more pleasant experience for you.
