We had reservations to stay for three nights at this resort. With all of the restaurants closing due to covid 19 we were going to see if there was an option to reschedule our stay. The person that I spoke with was RITA. I started to explain the reason for my call and she cut me off mid-sentence and did not let me finish what I was saying. Needless to say when someone cuts another person off mid-sentence I feel that that is inappropriate. The conversation proceeded to get heated and when I told her that I think that it would be best for her next time to try and listen to a person out before cutting them off she hung up on me. With all that being said, once everything clears with covid 19 we would still like to visit Waynesville but will definitely be staying at this resort!!!!!

The past few years, my husband & I have eaten Valentine's dinner there. It has always been excellent at a fair price. They always have dinner for two, which can include shrimp cocktail, filet mignon and dessert. It has always be delicious.

The Inn is located along a creek in a quiet, residential neighbourhood. My room was in an outllying building somewhat remote from the main lodge. Breakfast was included. The room was very spacious and inicluded a generous TV package and fast internet. All staff was very friendly and accomodating.

My wife and I have been visiting almost each year with another couple who are good friends. Groupon offers a great value and we usually go between November and February as time permits. Granted, the Inn is very historic and could use some upgrades; however, it does meet basic needs and offers a great value. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. There is an onsite restaurant and the food is very good quality. As long as you don't expect 5-star amenities, you will not be disappointed. When in season, the golf course is very enjoyable. The Inn is convenient to downtown and other restaurants and excursions in the area.

This place needs to be remodeled so badly. The bathroom sink was full of rust and chips. The furniture is scary. The hallways are straight from the movie the Shining. 1970 decor. Our door to our room didn’t even meet the door frame. It drug on the carpet. You get exactly what you pay for, make no mistake.
