This was our second stay. The rooms are kind-of old and not updated much...but they are clean and reasonably priced. The best thing here for us (we didn't golf)...the breakfast. It is wonderful! Lots of variety...omelet station, cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, fruit, bacon, bagels, etc. It is the main reason we stayed here again.

Spent two nights at Waynesville Inn while we explored that part of NC. Room overlooked the golf course and had a small balcony. Price included a breakfast buffet....their made to order omelets are not to be missed! Great bargain when you all you want is a place to spend the night.

We stayed for two nights as we toured and hiked the Blue Ridge Parkway near Asheville. The room was as advertised but could use some additions such as a fridge and a power strip to plug in cell phones. We did not have a balcony but I'm sure that would have been a nice addition. The pool is small but... More

The service at the front desk was fine at both check in and when we asked for a recommendation for dinner. The room, which was in the historic portion of the hotel, was okay. Unfortunately we were given a room that was directly above the outside eating area at breakfast time, so we were rudely awakened at 7 am. I... More

We enjoyed a two special with a wonderful mountain and golf course view. We were in the units labeled golf view with a queen bed. The room was very large with a small refrigerator, microwave, and small coffee maker. We enjoyed sitting out on our small patio seeing the sunset. The room was clean but not the latest decor. Bath was... More

Was traveling and decided to take a chance on a hotel with a good price and seemingly good pictures. The hotel was very nice and spacious rooms. The room was about 1/3 bigger than the standard Hampton Inn size room. The AC was not working well, in the morning when I went to the counter to complain about it the... More

This review speaks to only the "standard" rooms and nothing to the golf course, spa, bar, or restaurant. First, everyone on staff we encountered was very friendly. They even brought to our room a small frig for us to use (we thought it would be in the unit, but, apparently, wasn't included for standard rooms. The location was great for... More

I live a block from the WCC and had lunch with friends. The burgers are amazing--best in town! Half-pound burgers chargrilled to order. Can't comment on other food although a friend liked her salad, of which there are several, also a daily quiche. Can't wait to go back--this will be one of our regulars!

After reading some of the reviews, I was skeptical about making the 5 hour drive to Waynesvillle Inn but is am so glad we did. The 3 nine hole courses are all great to play. Incredible mountain views, short par 4's and excellent greens. I am a 15 handicap and my wife is a 40 and we both loved the... More

The hotel sits on the outskirts of Waynesville - a sleepy town in NC. The hotel is rather run down. It is very dusty. Our room was not properly cleaned when we checked in. We found dirty uses washcloths in the bathroom, a moldy and hairy bath mat and a dirty microwave with food stains from the previous guest. The... More
