We stayed here for several nights as a family. The inn keepers are wonderful! Anything we needed they provided. Even reservations for restaurants! We had family come in at all times of the night. They were there for them. The rooms are older, but had everything we needed. The office provided coffee, tea, and honeybuns for breakfast. Our family enjoyed... More

A vintage style courtyard type motel. People walk about in the evening, sit in the rocking chairs on the porch or hang out on the deck under the giant oak trees. All this just a few steps from the quietly vibrant town of Waynesville. The older style rooms are clean as a whistle and very comfortable. There is an on... More

On a serendipitous day trip, we randomly chose to overnight in Waynesville and this place popped up on a quick internet search. We were quite pleased when we pulled in and got a really good price, although we know it's off season and wouldn't expect the same during periods of higher demand. This is an older, 50s-era lodge of the... More

Stayed here a couple of times and enjoyed each time. It is an old style motel, with rockers in front of each room and nice little greenbelt area with a deck running down the center. The deck is a gathering place for the guests and the owners in the late afternoon and evening after dinner. Reasonable rates and very friendly... More

Planned mini get away to Maggie Valley, had reservations for Sunday check in and then decided to go a day early and "find" a motel for one night in Waynesville. We were very pleased to find this gem of a motel! Our room was very quaint and clean. Owner was very pleasant. We truly enjoyed finding this motel and was... More

This is our favorite place! We've stayed here twice and have reservations for 2 more stays in 2016. Very clean and friendly. The owners are very sweet and helpful. It's within walking distance to downtown. When we're there we walk down to the local bakery every morning for coffee. Love the motel, the town, the atmosphere. You can't go wrong... More

We decided to extend our trip to the mountains at the last minute and wanted to get out of Asheville. We called this place up Sunday afternoon and were able to get a room for $89.95. It is super cute, very quaint and cozy. The beds weren't the best ever, and the bathroom was cold, despite the heater in the... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. The owners are friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions. The location was convenient for walking to restaurants and shops. The rooms are nothing fancy but clean. What we enjoyed most relaxing in our outside rocking chairs and chatting with others.

This is a great "Mom & Pop" inn. Old-school, simple, clean, and with a very reasonable price. The location is great, being on Main Street and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. We highly recommend the Frogs Leap Public House for dinner and the City Bakery for breakfast.

We've stayed here before and did again last weekend. Very nice folks, nice grounds with huge shady trees in the middle of the complex seperating the different wings of the inn. Folks relaxing on the shady decks, playing cornhole and generally taking it easy. Rooms are basic but clean and the mattresses are very nice for the price. Will stay... More
