Sitting here on Saturday morning....getting ready for another wonderful breakfast as we watch the morning mist over the mountains....our stay here was just what we envisioned......and we hate to leave. If you appreciate history, character, delightful hosts, quiet nights....and your pet is welcome.....then you will really enjoy this 100 year old lodge.....many thanks to Jeffery and Breanna for restoring it...

We have made what we affectionately called an annual apple run in September for the last 40 years. This year was spur of the moment and the best lodging choice seemed to be Grandview Lodge, so we booked two days before our arrival. Our room was the only one available at the time. The location is one that you are...

We enjoyed 3 nights at the Grandview Lodge during a recent trip to Waynesville. The lodge was completely booked the weekend we were there. We stayed in the Thomas Wolfe room. The lodge was very clean and the hearty breakfast was the highlight. There were both fresh apple and orange juices squeezed along with teas and coffee. Fresh local mushrooms...

Pick an adjective for this unique place! Our knotty pine room couldn't have felt more warm and welcoming. I loved the "old time feel" of the place…the photos, antiques, old record albums and assorted knick knacks collected by the owner give the place an ambience all its own. If you happen to be there on a rainy day, you could...

The Grandview Lodge was a very pleasant place to stay...we stayed two nights in The Dellanoy room and would have loved to have stayed longer! The room was very clean and spacious and tastefully decorated...we also enjoyed the wrap around deck...the view of the mountains was beautiful...Jeffrey(owner) was very easy to talk to and gave us some great tips of...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Grandview Lodge. The room was clean and comfortable. They allow dogs to stay there so we got to bring our two with us. The owners and staff were friendly and gave suggestions on where to eat out in Waynesville. The breakfast was tasty especially the biscuits.

A lot of thought and effort has gone into the functioning of the Grandview Lodge. The results are appealing and comfortable. You do not always anticipate receiving such warm and personal attention, much less attention to detail. Our room was very large and well appointed right down to the persian carpets. I had heard the included breakfast was a masterpiece,...

Owner Jeffrey at the Grandview Lodge, Waynesville, NC made our stay most enjoyable. Offering a great place to relax and including the outdoor fire pit. Accommodations were rustic, well appointed to the Smoky Mountains and Morning Breakfasts were excellent. A vast library and music collection, made for some great choices for entertainment. Close to Central downtown and a few great...

Decided to take a last minute trip to the mountains with my dog and reserved a room at this place. The room was clean, cozy and inviting. The location of this B and B is like being in your own private mountain getaway but less than 10 minutes to downtown Waynesville. The breakfast consisted of eggs with cheese, grits, biscuits...

Our Snowbird friends group picked this lodge in Waynesville for a summer weekend. Waynesville is a great small town with very good restaurants and beautiful mountains. The lodge was not quite what we expected; one couple is trying to do way too much and need more help. If having the grounds beautifully tended is important to you, then this isn't...
