My wife and I were there in mid September of 2015 awaiting going to visit our son at Western Carolina. The rooms were quaint, clean and comfortable. The owner was very helpful with his hospitality and recommendations. Breakfast was delicious!! Highly recommend the Grandview Lodge. We will definitely be back soon!

We spent 2 nights over New Year's weekend at Grandview Lodge while checking out the area. The service, room and breakfast were wonderful! Loved getting to know the owners a bit and their love for the place is evident all around. We stayed in the Lodge itself upstairs in one of the King rooms. It was spacious and had the... More

We were on a house hunting trip with our dogs. After looking for a pet friendly place to stay in Waynesville, we found the Grand View Lodge. Jeff and Breanna were very welcoming and we enjoyed their genuine interest in providing us with a wealth of local information. The included breakfast was delicious and made to order. When we purchase... More

Late into the evening and in desperate need of a room for the night, the kind owner, Jeffrey, was our saviour! The room was adorable. Rustic, clean and so comfortable. In the morning, to our requirements, we had a freshly made breakfast. Delicious! Jeffrey was so hospitable and his lodge was full of hidden treasures. I haven't seen a vinyl... More

Found this on our bike ride through The Blue Ridge Mountains. Easy on off the parkway, motorcycle friendly. The owner Jeff was excellent and so accomodating. Great value so much nicer than staying in a motel. The rooms were awesome, rustic vibe absolutely loved this stop, wish we were could have stayed longer. It was so nice to sit on... More

I guess my expectations were too high! After reading all the great recent reviews, my husband and I were excited to stay at the Grandview Lodge. The rooms were a little dated, but decent. Pro's: The owners Breanna and Jeffery are very friendly and knowledgable about the area. The room had a mini fridge, iron, ironing board, blow dryer, and... More

We are sorry that you only had an average stay at the Grandview Lodge. We at the Grandview pride ourselves in making that extra effort to make your stay feel like your second home. In our view "Beware the Shower" comes off a little strong. We have never had a complaint about the shower in the 2 years that we've... More

Sitting here on Saturday morning....getting ready for another wonderful breakfast as we watch the morning mist over the mountains....our stay here was just what we envisioned......and we hate to leave. If you appreciate history, character, delightful hosts, quiet nights....and your pet is welcome.....then you will really enjoy this 100 year old lodge.....many thanks to Jeffery and Breanna for restoring it... We have made what we affectionately called an annual apple run in September for the last 40 years. This year was spur of the moment and the best lodging choice seemed to be Grandview Lodge, so we booked two days before our arrival. Our room was the only one available at the time. The location is one that you are... More

We enjoyed 3 nights at the Grandview Lodge during a recent trip to Waynesville. The lodge was completely booked the weekend we were there. We stayed in the Thomas Wolfe room. The lodge was very clean and the hearty breakfast was the highlight. There were both fresh apple and orange juices squeezed along with teas and coffee. Fresh local mushrooms... More

Pick an adjective for this unique place! Our knotty pine room couldn't have felt more warm and welcoming. I loved the "old time feel" of the place…the photos, antiques, old record albums and assorted knick knacks collected by the owner give the place an ambience all its own. If you happen to be there on a rainy day, you could... More
