My husband and I love B & B's and came upon the Yellow House by chance and what a fortuitous day it was ! The rooms are just lovely especially the Windwardside Suite and the Carriage House Suite. And to top it all off, Shawn, the caretaker, provides the best food including hor d'ourves in the afternoon and a scrumptious...

We decided to get out of town for a weekend at The Yellow House and had the most wonderful time. Everything was carefully thought out to make our stay easy and tranquil. The food is INCREDIBLE- Shawn is not only a wonderful Innkeeper but a fabulous cook. Little touches like daily fresh baked cookies make it feel cozy and homey...

The Yellow House is beautiful inside and outside. The rooms are charming and very comfortable. I loved my great big bed, the fireplace, the comfy sofa and the warm soft robe. The food is delicious! For instance, the mouth watering Quiche, the Peach baked french toast(made with croissants) and many other so yummy things to eat. Innkeeper Shawn is the...

This was our second visit to The Yellow House and again, we were impressed! We had delicious hot breakfasts served in-room each morning by cheerful staff who were eager to please. The crisp, comfortable king poster bed in the beautiful and spacious S'conset room gave us both a good night's sleep. It snowed our last morning there - the jacuzzi...

The Yellow House is lovely. The setting is ideal with a pond and waterfalls, large trees and beautiful landscaping. It is quiet and so very relaxing. The nearby town of Waynesville was very nice with a variety of shops. The staff at The Yellow House was very welcoming and the breakfast tasted as delicious as it looked. Our room was...

We just spent our first weekend at The Yellow House. We stayed with a large group and took over The Pond House, a set of 3 separate rooms at the top of the property, overlooking The Yellow House. We stayed in The Savannah room, which had such a great view of both the upper and lower ponds. The ducks returned...

Very friendly staff, very clean. Wonderful food, but would have preferred choices for breakfast, though. Very nice property and walking areas. Ample parking. Large rooms. Beautiful Victorian style house. S'Conset Suite was a beautiful large room with nice gas fireplace.

The room was large and very clean. The King size bed was very comfortable. The gas fireplace warmed us up in the mornings. The breakfast was different each morning and was very good. It was nice to get away from busy Asheville after visiting the Biltmore House. Waynesville is a very nice town with great shopping for a small city....

This B&B is as close to perfect as we have found. The room was s-p-a-c-i-o-u-s and immaculate. It contained a classic style 4 poster bed and a gas fireplace that warmed the room quickly (central heating and cooling also available). The house is a well-preserved 19th century home with all the up-to-date features you might want (WIFI, portable DVR player)...
