Room had a very strong smell of air freshener that was almost unbearable. We had to leave the outside door open with the heat going as it was about 50 outside. Took over 3 hours to air out. Evidently they were covering up something to use that much to gag you. The breakfast was a joke. Slimy cold sausage and watery small pancakes. No fruit or pastries. Just a container of milk and some probably stale cereal. Worst free breakfast by far I've ever seen at a hotel. The patios have access to other rooms by crawling under the divider. I was afraid to leave anything in my room as the patio door wouldn't lock and easily to unlock anyway.
Beautiful spot for a hotel, the view was great to watch the sunset. Building is old, room had dust along walls, bedding is old, one piece had a cigarette type burn hold in it. liked that it was pet friendly. Girl when we checked out at 8:30 am was barely awake and not so pleasant. Love the balcony but the chairs need major overall like paint.
What a great position this property is in, high up on a hill with a nice view. Our room was large with a balcony, nicely furnished and very clean and only lacking a fridge. The breakfast was sparse, no milk at all one morning and you had to ring a bell to get a member of staff to the desk every time. Pool was closed and the outside generally needs smartening up but fine for a night or two and very reasonable rates
Checked in without issue and all seemed well until I opened the door to the room. Room was not cleaned and the front desk stated it was reported cleaned. Mix ups happen but the idea that other cleaning was sometimes missed caused me to deny the offer of a different room. Maybe a bit over cautious but enjoyed my stay elsewhere.
Checked in or tried to. No clerk present. Pressed the bell at the counter and a clerk appeared and gave me a key and that was it. Room currently being remodeled. Needed a second coat of paint due to poor coverage on the first coat. No lamps in the room except two wall sconces by the bed. No couch or place to sit except for a table chair. Toilet seat was replaced but mismatched and a smaller size. Checkout consisted of leaving your key on the counter. Again, no staff. Didn’t bother trying the donuts that constituted breakfast. Security cameras were pointing to the floor. I thought is was clean until my wife got a free dose of bedbugs. I escaped them. Avoid this place.
