Awesome weekend get away ! Anna was so nice and an excellent cook. She told us she gets lost in her cooking…it showed on our plate as the flavor was incredible and had a Eastern European influence. Can’t say enough about this beautiful place…we walked all over the town but decided the best view was right there on the porch. We would give 10 stars if we could…not to mention she loves dogs and let us bring our little fellow. Our suite was just massive and beautiful…we can’t wait to go back!!
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay with Anna. She is warm and caring with a great sense of humor. It was so interesting talking with her about the places to visit and see near her location. Her breakfasts were great and eating on the porch looking over the mountains and the town was quite relaxing. My husband and I definitely recommend staying with Anna. You will have a great experience.
Hands down one of the best B&B’s we’ve stayed at! Anna is an amazing cook and makes a huge breakfast every morning for her guests! We also loved her precious puppy. Bed was extremely cozy and our room was very spacious. She also gave us some awesome dinner reservations! It was the best weekend away. We felt like home here and we will definitely be coming back!
The house was so easy to find and in a great location. As we arrived, our hostess met us at the door even though it was pretty late. The house was wonderful and the rooms had a fridge with drinks and baskets of snacks sitting around. If you forgot any toiletries, no need to ask because everything was awaiting you. The bed and linens were wonderful and extremely comfortable. And breakfast...AMAZING! Our host was a fabulous cook and so interesting to talk to. We loved it!
We were fortunate to stay here for our 25th wedding anniversary trip. Everything was fabulous. Anna is the perfect host. Her staff is excellent. The food was delicious and Anna was extremely accommodating. The portions were big enough that we usually skipped lunch. The rooms were big. The house is a treasure and the view from the porch was spectacular. It might be the best trip we have ever had. We have every intention of coming back. Thank you Anna.
We very much enjoyed our stay here. Check in was a breeze and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty but the portions were huge! I would definitely come back if I was in the area. Everything was very clean and in order. Anna is a great host.
We rented out the entire inn for a week for our family of 8 adults and 6 children. This BnB has a great view of the mountains and very convenient location near town. Waynesville is a very charming mountain town just north of Asheville. Anna the innkeeper is wonderful. She attended to all our needs and went out of her way to ensure we were all extremely comfortable & well taken care of during our stay. Her staff and their service was top-notch. All of the rooms are lovely and very well appointed. Each contains a portable refrigerator, Keurig, robes and slippers, TVs, iron and board, toiletries, etc. A nice variety of snacks and beverages provided & available all the time anytime. With advanced notice, Anna cooked not only scrumptious breakfasts but all of our meals and all were so delicious. We enjoyed a weenie roast and somores around the amazing fire pit. Will definitely return to Oak Hill on Love Lane.…
My husband and I had such a wonderful time at the Oak Hill on Love Lane Bed and Breakfast. The house is beautiful and tastefully decorated, and so quiet. The beds, sheets, pillows were wonderful. Our room and adjoining parlor, as well as the bathroom were extremely clean as was the whole house. Breakfast was gourmet and we were offered different choices each morning. The Eggs Benedict were perfect as were the waffles and crepes. The Inn keeper, Anna, was a great hostess and offered helpful suggestion for day trips. The location was perfect and near all of the shops in Waynesville, and a short drive to Bryson City, Dillsboro, Maggie Valley, and Cherokee. Loved the porch wih tables and chairs, and the wonderful fire pit. Definately plan to stay there again.
When we last visited this bed and breakfast, several years ago, it was in pristine condition. It now appears to be run down. The grounds and the home itself are in need of attention. Anna is a fine host and the rooms themselves are quite nice. Breakfast was marginal. Cold entrees.
The Inn is located in a beautiful classic southern home overlooking Waynesville with a gorgeous Mountain View. The home itself is part of the national historic home registry. The house is adorned with beautiful rugs, well placed antiques, and it just a great feel in general. The owner is a wonderful lady that always has a smile on her face and makes you feel right at home. We plan to make this a new gift idea for friends and family!
