What a wonderful experience coming to Brookside Mountain Mist Inn! Mary and Bill make you feel welcome, and like family, while enjoying your stay. Most impressive, besides the beautiful location in the mountains, was the top notch cleanliness and the amazing breakfasts and refreshments served every day - all from scratch made by Mary and her talented pastry chef, Stephanie. They truly make it worth your stay with them! The back terrace and gardens provide a relaxing evening to watch a sunset, enjoy a book or play some games or cards before retiring for the night! The rooms were so clean and inviting, stocked with everything you need - attention to detail made them impeccable! Their "guest station" was open 24 hours a day, offering their guests complimentary water, soft drinks, coffee, tea and ice! My stay couldn't have been more enjoyable, and Mary and Bill's welcome couldn't have made it feel any nicer! I appreciate them sharing their little piece of heaven with me and any guests who come for a visit! Thank you for your hospitality, and I will be back again!…
So fortunate to celebrate 51 years of friendship with a five night stay! Most time we have spent together since high school graduation. Mary and Bill are perfect hosts, the accommodations were top-notch and Stephanie is incredibly talented in the kitchen. The breakfast every morning who is incredibly high appealing and wonderful. Outside patio was perfect for enjoying Mountain View’s and even better for the amazing nightly sunsets while we all visited and enjoyed time together! There is no doubt in my mind that we will enjoy more get togethers at Brookside Mountain Mist inn! Thank you for everything!
Stayed in The Palm Suite (best room in the Inn!) for three nights at this very comfortable and friendly B&B. Mary and Bill were excellent hosts who present you with good food, refreshments, afternoon snacks, wonderful sunset views, and a fabulous location for exploring the NC mountains, towns and villages. Will definitely want to stay again.
The inn is a warm and welcoming place. Mary and Bill treat everyone like treasured family. Rooms and bedding were comfortable and clean. Breakfast each morning was wonderful. The chef is creative and amazing. Sitting on the patio watching the sunset is a must. Excellent location close to all Waynesville and the mountains have to offer. We had a great stay and will definitely be back.
My wife and I just returned from a two night stay at the Inn. As stated in other reviews, this B & B is located near downtown Waynesville. It is convenient to restaurants, grocery stores and across the street from a golf course. It is truly as advertised. Upon arrival, we met the inn keepers and owners, Mary and Bill. It didn’t take us long to feel as if we had known them forever. They were gracious, friendly, and there to please their guests. Bill was the front guy. Mary worked behind the scene to insure everything was not just good, but, the very best. They have a very talented pastry chef who assists with breakfast and makes afternoon delights. It was very difficult for us to leave this couple. They are good people. We will find a reason to return.
