Although the room was clean and everything worked. ( Room 117). Room 116-113 had people living there. Chairs, garbage, traffic in and out of the rooms a all hours. I witnessed several deals happen. Made stay very uncomfortable.
I recently had to get a room for vary personal important reasons and kinda made the manager mad, but I seen that he was reasonable and vary nice and so as the clerk and housekeeping, what I’m saying is vary vary nice good caring people other than the room not as perfect but vary above average and clean to, always hot water no matter how long you run it, and just good cable and clean nice basic furniture
I frequently stay at Motel 6s across the country because of the no pet fees. I have 2 dogs. I said so when I booked online. When I checked in the owner told me they only allow one dog per room because the rooms are too small. First of all, what dows he care? He doesn't have to be in there with us. Second, it says right on the website that two pets per room are allowed. I wasn't in the mood to argue so said I'll take a refund then. He changed his tune immediately and then said he will allow it "just this once." That really rubbed me the wrong way. There was no good area to walk dogs - garbage and glass all over and very little grass. I had no other complaints seeing as you need to expect Motel 6s to be dumps and I am fine with that. Not fine with being threatened for no reason.
We were on our way to Florida for the winter and stopped for the night. The office seemed nice enough, but the room was awful. There was a faint smell of cat spray near the bed. I entered the bathroom and was shocked to see a roll of toilet paper with 3 squares hanging up. We did have a spare roll. The sink spigot actually moved around every time I turned the water on and off. There were cigarette burns on the edge of the bathtub. One of the two headboards had fallen off of the wall. The mattress was so uncomfortable, my back hurt the next day. We paid around $64 for the room. Dogs are free. Free coffee is served in the morning, but no food. I will never stay here again. I’d pass this one up, since there are several more to choose from. This place gives Motel 6 a bad rap.…
After I paid for my room, I unlocked the door, and noticed two pillows on the bed and none elsewhere. I sleep with three, so I walked to the desk and asked the clerk for another pillow. "No extra pillows" he told me. I knew that could not be true. I put my passcard on the desk and asked for my money back, as I did not believe him. He found two extra pillows immediately. I stayed the night.but will not stay here again in my travels. A desk clerk telling me there are no extra pillows is lying to me. Bad experience.
