This is a great townhome. Very spacious and well maintained. The area, however, was not what we expected. It is literally IN the mountain so getting around is very difficult. To get to the amenities you need to take a 10 min drive. There was roadwork when we were there so it became a 30 min drive. If you like golf clubs and art galleries, this is for you. We have 2 teen boys and to do anything fun, outside of the lake, we had to travel 30-45 min away. It rained a lot and there is nothing to do inside. No movie theater or indoor activities for teens. There is an indoor pool and video games for the little ones. The biggest problem is the labor shortage in the area. The lake was closed on one of the few beautiful days because there was no one to work. I could tell the the workers at the resort were stressed and sometimes it comes out as being rude. The restaurants are short staffed and short on supplies. Most of the wait staff were very nice. It's a shame that some of the restaurants were closed throughout the week because of this. Overall we had a nice time and it is a beautiful area. I just wouldn't bring active teens.

Will never stay here again! Our townhome was very stinky and musty. The beds and the sofa were very uncomfortable. Our bathtub shower curtain was covered in mildew as was the ceiling and the caulking around the tub. Very outdated and dark and dank.

Those making a timeshare exchange to Foxhunt should be aware that the townhouses are located over a mile from the main campus and where all the amenities are. That created a bit of a disincentive for us to use the pool and mini-golf. The units are also dated and we had to have them bring some additional items that were missing at check-in. However, there is much to do in area, especially hiking to beautiful waterfalls and overlooks. Also, good restaurants and shopping in Highland, about 20 minutes away.

We appreciate the feedback. We are a 5000-acre resort, therefore, a vehicle is definitely necessary. I apologize you had some missing items upon check-in however I am happy to hear we were able to bring them right out. Thank you again and we hope to have you back again soon.

When you locate property, it is very nice unit, registration was off site. Due to airline difficulty, we arrived very late, it was a challenge to find in the in the dark! We did several days of Golfing, hiking, BBQ rib tasting. The pool and hot tubs looked inviting down in the sister resorts. Must have a car. Grocery store near by with Redbox. Couple issues with Unit one but we have notified management

Our unit was in Building 7, nestled deep in the woods; but not lakeside. There were only 3 other units in our building. Very idyllic. The split level unit had a guest bedroom on the level we entered and a large master bedroom and bathroom w/Jacuzzi tub a short flight of steps down (see photo). The guest bedroom had twin beds in it and the master bedroom had a king size bed. We were really nestled in the woods. There was a nice large porch (see photo) off of the living and dining room, as well as a smaller one off of the master bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked but a little narrow. The check-in office is 1+ miles from the actual resort. Our unit was very quiet as we were a ways back into the woods from Rt 64. See photo of sign marking where one turns off of Rt. 64 to get to the units. Internet service was fine.
