Julie the owner is amazing! When we arrived at the Inn, Julie asked if we would like to upgrade to a larger room, a suite at no additional charge? She said I love being able to do this at times when I can. That started our stay as being amazing! Beautiful views and grounds with beautiful flowers. Very cute soft touches of nature all around. The pictures really don’t do it justice. Julie was also so helpful with restaurants and sites for us to see. We would definitely recommend their little oasis of nature and cannot wait to plan another trip to stay here! Thank you again Julie for your help with EVERYTHING! Kathy

What an idyllic setting! Fresh mountain air, gorgeous blooming flowers and a welcoming suite. Updated decor, king size bed with the softest sheets, double sink in bathroom, 2 tv’s, Keurig coffee maker and mini fridge. The common room is huge with a door code for entry any time. Complimentary breakfast goodies available- even cook your own eggs and bacon! This would be perfect for a group. The staff was so friendly and kept asking if we needed anything. We really wanted to stay longer than the four days we were there. Can’t wait to go back!

Location This is a great location if you plan to hike, seek waterfalls, and/or enjoy Gorges State Park. The Inn is located on the main road through town, but most rooms are set back far enough that you don't hear road noise. Also, at least in May, the highway wasn't busy at night. Common areas/ breakfast There is a kitchen area and common room shared by guests. Since not many people were staying during our visit, we had it to ourselves most of the time. We ordered out dinner from the Italian restaurant next door and enjoyed private dining on the back deck of the common space overlooking a wooded area. Perfect! It's unusual that you have the option to prepare your own breakfast. We enjoyed cooking an egg and bacon each morning to have with the bagels, or toast, or banana bread or other options. I don't mind sharing a common carton of milk or juice, but it felt a little unsanitary to me to share jelly or peanut butter jars. Would have preferred individual packets. We used the kitchen area to heat leftovers. In fact, we used the common area quite a bit and it felt like an extension of our room. That's why it didn't matter that our room was small. Room We had a queen bed room. It's small but has everything you need to efficiently use the space -- luggage racks, closet rod, refrigerator, one sitting chair, night stands, good lighting and a desk. The bathroom is small, but clean. The wall was thin between our room and the one next door. We could hear guests talking. Thankfully they were relatively quiet people and went to sleep when we did. Bed This was the one disappointing part of the stay. I admit we're rather picky about beds. The bed is a very average hotel bed. It was broken down along the sides (where everyone sits by the nightstand.) There was a "hill" in the middle so that you tended to roll toward the edge. Wish they had invested in a more high quality bed. That would have made the stay perfect. Staff Lovely and helpful. All in all -- a great stay. But couldn't return due to the bed quality which impacted my sleep. But if you're someone who can sleep anywhere and aren't as picky as I am about a bed, then you'll love your stay here.

We booked a room for ourselves and our traveling companions so we could explore Cashiers and Highlands. We arrived and were greeted by Crystal, a warm and friendly lady. She gave us a quick rundown of the property, its amenities, and how things ran, then off we went. Our rooms were just like the pictures--very clean and very charming--everything we needed to relax comfortably in preparation for exploring the towns around us. There's a large open kitchen area with key code access, along with a 'gathering room' next to it that has a large fireplace with gas logs, tables, and a small library with games. Perfect and very welcoming. Was a great choice and very reasonable.

We enjoyed a long weekend here at this sweet little inn in Sapphire, NC. We stayed in the Whitewater Suite. The accommodations were very cozy and one of the cleanest accommodations I had stayed at recently. They place high importance on the cleanliness. So good in this time of pandemic! We felt completely safe. They are dog friendly and we enjoyed bringing our little dog. We were thrilled to wake up to several inches of snow on the second day! Beautiful and pristine. We were close enough to drive to Cashiers and Highlands for sightseeing. The drive over is very curvy but breathtaking views are abundant! The suite was wonderful: comfortable bed with good linens, nice microwave and keurig type coffee maker, separate sitting area with big screen TV. Watched our favorite Netflix movies. I would recommend this place. Also very nice staff!
