!We have stayed at 5 of the 7 cabins offered!! Absolutely go to place for North Carolina.. We met a new friend Remington. My daughter brought him inside and had some hot dogs and took a nap on the couch! The cabins are great!! Can’t say enough good things about it!. I have pics of my daughter from under 2 years old up until now almost 17 years old at Cabin Fever. You can’t go wrong!!

I stayed in the Bird's Nest cabin, which is designed for 2-4 people, though I went solo this trip, and had a great experience. The room is attached to the keepers' lodge, but I didn't have any issues with noise or privacy. The room was well set up, and felt like a home away from home. The screened porch was amazing for just relaxing and getting some fresh air without the hassle of swatting bugs. There was a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom that also was functioning well and very relaxing. And most importantly, Eric and Dana (the keepers) were very kind and were more than willing to accommodate any reasonable requests that I would've had. I will definitely be coming back!

Once again our trip was what we needed away from the hustle and bustle of stressful living. We love to come here to the quite and peaceful mountain air. Not many places we can take our dogs. The cabins are very nice and so are the proprietors. They are always there for you for whatever you may need. Thank you guys!

We loved the cabin we stayed in, South Fork. The setting is wonderful, with large trees, privacy, quiet. But we did have a couple of issues that marred our visit somewhat. The oven and stove were filthy, to the extent that we couldn't cook. When I turned on one burner, noxious fumes rose; the drip pans were caked with all I-don't-know what, and something or many things had overflowed in the oven to the extent I was afraid to turn it on. We called, then a few hours later texted, and then my husband finally walked down to the caretakers to ask that it be cleaned, which it was. I couldn't understand that no one had been in to check on the place before we arrived. It did seem clean except for that, but that's quite an oversight! The screen on the (wonderful) screen porch was falling down, creating a two-three foot opening for bugs to come in--and boy did they. And the kitchen faucet needs replacing. The shower was new and great. I just wish there was better maintenance of the place, because it's overall a unique place to stay.

Room Tip: We brought a floor lamp. The bedroom has 4 table lamps and is very dark, and there was no reading...
