This was our first stop on the way to Melbourne and the station is about 800 kms from Perth, so a good day's drive. It isn't just a caravan park along the road, it's about 2 kms away from the Hwy, so very peaceful, with the Ranges as a backdrop. You can see kangaroos, emus, etc... at sunset. The caravan... More

Great spot to stop when traveling across this country. Set around 2 km off the main road ensures that there is very minimal road noise. Another bonus is the meal $30 pp when we stayed. It was great to be able to pull up and not have to cook for the night

Ahhhhhhhhhh is exactly how you feel when you arrive at Fraser Range. It literally is an oasis in the desert. Rooms are lovely (LOVE stone walls)and the hosts make you feel very welcome. They're moving out of sheep and getting into cattle but there are a few animals around which adds to the charm of the station. Make Fraser Range... More

Great spot with perfect amenities. New cook is talented with an all you can eat wonderful meal for $30. Interesting history. Would have liked to see the new breed of sheep they are trialling. Watch out for Spirit. So gorgeous. Not sure about a 'working station' but very happy with our stay. Wishing you success.

Our single night stay here was simply a stop over on our trip over east. It turned out to be such a great adventure with 3 teenage kids. We stayed in "Darby's Den" which was more than ample for our family of 5. A full kitchen, dining and lounge area was so nice. On the evening we stayed a storm... More

Enjoyable spot to camp while traversing the nullabor. Clean tidy and friendly. Basic but lovely views of the range. We didn't eat at the on site kitchen but heard they have lovely meals. Nice looking hotel type accomodation was available too.

The Fraser Station is a very out back place to stay at. The buildings are very good to look at and the station has a lot to offer for country life. It was a very enjoyable stay. A very pleasant sun set and wild life to see. The old machinery was good to see. The park is very country, sites... More

We stayed here one night on the way through from Esperance back east. I especially loved the camp kitchen!! Fully stocked with crockery, cutlery, toaster, kettle, 4 burner stove, oven all pots and pans fridge and microwave! We were camping in tents and had the most perfect spot under the peppercorn trees!! Beautiful we didn't even bother unpacking our camping... More

We spent one night here in the shearing quarters. The room is very basic - just a bed, bedding and a bedside table. It was raining heavily when we were there, so the bedroom smelt a little dank, but the beds were comfortable and clean. The toilets and coin in the slot shower block were also clean - and a... More

This was our 3rd stay here and always have a great time. The communal fireplace is wonderful to sit around and chat with fellow travellers. Sites are well set out and the 3 course meal on offer each night is a welcome break from cooking!! Camp hosts Jackie and Geoff were very welcoming and always had time for a chat.... More
