The Turn of the Century B&B is a destination in itself. If it’s not a busy day and Karen has a moment, she can tell you the amazing details of the transformation from a near-ruin to the authentically restored gem which is a unique, cozy and extraordinary place to stay. And please, Karen, do that cookbook soon so I can make your zucchini chocolate muffins at home!
We stayed in the English Room which was nicely decorated and plenty big. The shower and toilet are tucked away in two former closets - what a great space saving design that was completely functional. There's an English gentleman's dressing wardrobe in case you need to hang anything up.
Breakfast the next morning was excellent, and we finalized our day with Karen over a cup of coffee. We'll be back to this great B&B and to see more of Salisbury!
"I had a large suite that runs from the front to the back of the house with a magnificent huge tree outside the sitting room."Read full review
