We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Across the Pond. Andy and Mary were perfect hosts and made us feel very much at home in their beautifully restored home. Our room (The Presley) was very comfortable and well-appointed, down to the photos of Elvis, B.B., Muddy, and other blues greats. We enjoyed an authentic English breakfast (thanks for the beans, Andy) as well as my wife Rhonda's favorite PG Tips tea. We had a great opportunity to talk music with Andy over a glass of wine and admire the collection of art they have accumulated over the years. We will definitely be back to stay and will tell all our friends to stay here when they visit Salisbury. Thank you Andy and Mary and we're glad Leeds United won on Saturday.

This was my third stay at Across the Pond B&B, and every time Andrew and Mary make it a wonderful, relaxing, fun experience. This trip was no exception and we had a much-needed break which included "wine and nibbles" receptions and fabulous breakfasts. Initially, I began staying there because my daughter was a college student at Catawba. This trip however I went back to see the Walkers! That's how friendly they are and how welcome they make you feel. Go see them as soon as you can!

If you want to feel spoiled, this is your place. Andy and Mary are the ultimate innkeepers. The accommodations are beautiful, clean and well located. But the people. That's what makes this place stand out. Do yourselves a favor and book here. You will not regret it.

Andrew and Mary were wonderful and we enjoyed our stay very much. They gave us a tour of Andrew's HUGE collection of books and we learned about their beautiful 100 year old home. We walked to dinner in the quaint town of Salisbury and enjoyed some homemade ice cream for dessert. Breakfast in the morning was delicious -- Homemade buttermilk pancakes, sausage, and fresh fruit! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a little get-away time.

We returned for a second visit bringing another couple with us as we had loved the hospitality the first time so much. One of our friends was English and so we hoped Andrew and Mary would enjoy the visit too - indeed the hosts made all of us so welcome and spent extra time visiting with us. The breakfasts were again superb. We do intend to go again as soon as we can and you our highest recommendation to this B&B and hosts. This a B&B where you feel like saying "thank you" every hour.
