First off you must realise this property is not a hotel and really should not be in this Trip Advisor category. It is a farm property offering a variety of accommodations from a well appointed room to a separate cottage to sites for caravans and motor homes. Reg and Veronica are very welcoming hosts and i can recommend their cooking!...

Terrific review from a valued guest, we enjoyed having you both stay with us in the main home (B and B). Our future guests will be appreciative of the explanation for our accommodation this is something we have not had covered before from a guest point of view and it really explains all that Sandy Lake Farm has to offer,...

We really enjoyed the friendly hospitality of Veronica and Reg. The deluxe room had everything we needed for a getaway from Perth and the brekky was delicious. Really well located accommodation for a visit to the Gravity Discovery Centre, which puts on a great night program.

Thank you Cory for your review it is really appreciated especially pointing out the GDC Observatory at Gingin, which many guests had falsely thought was closed, is operating at the Gravity Discovery Centre just 10 minutes from our farm stay. We look forward to offering you a warm welcome should you come by this way again.

I stayed here for 6 weeks in June & July 2015. The property is beautiful with friendly, helpful proprietors. It's a very peaceful place, down a dirt road that was dusty in dry weather & quite slippery in the wet weather, however was passable in 2WD. I rented the farm cottage, which was lovely but very cold; no insulation or...

Spring is just a few days away and the nights are still cool while the days are sunny and warm. The lambs are still jumping about Roger our little hand fed ram is doing very well as is the bottle fed calf. Thank you for taking the time to review the cottage. As it was so cold this year we...

We loved the charming hospitality from hosts farmers Reg and Veronica. They won our kids over as did Abbey ( the "farm" dog). An excellent place to get away, enjoy fresh air and the delightful view from cottage verandah. Clean, warm and homely.

My family arrived 2 weekends ago and all 12 of us decided to head to Gingin for some stargazing. With a large group and last minute booking, it was hard to accommodate us without minimum 2 nights' stay. I stumbled across Sandy Lake Farmstay and thankfully, Veronica and Ron had room to accommodate all of us. We pretty much took...

Thank goodness you found us we were delighted to have your group of 12 stay Reg and I love to see all the accommodation booked out with a group of friends or family as their fun is totally infectious and the farm seems to bloom with such a joyous atmosphere. We hope to see you back one day soon.

My partner and myself parked our campervan for 2 nights here and we were both absolutely amazed from the first moment we pulled up in the driveway. I wont spoil the fun, but there arent too many farms that show that their owners have raised it 100% perfectly. The views are amazing at every turn, the history of the farm...

As an older couple who have limited mobility the warmth of our reception by Veronika and Reg was fantastic.
