We stayed at the Orleans bay caravan park for a 2 week stay and found the scenery absolutely amazing.Beaches with the whitest sand and bluest water uninhabited, fishing for squid and herring along the coast and generally just relaxing by the water The owners of the caravan park Chris and Guy were so helpful in giving us tips where to go... Great place to stay, friendly staff, great spot to explore the surrounds , plenty of room for large vans, beautiful beaches, beautiful scenery, stayed longer than we wanted cos it was so good. Have a great time and enjoy the beaches and 4wd tracks.

We stayed in the non powered site out the back which had tracks leading right off over the sand dunes for our bikes and quads. As we are fully self sufficient this was perfect for us. It was a little windy but the weather was great. The beaches were magnificent.

First time we have been to this area. The owners went out of their way to help us find a camping spot - gave us some choices, but ended up setting up camp near the chalets to the left of the office/shop. The showers near the shop are a bit dated, but nevertheless were clean and tidy. Shop is full... More

Stayed over New Year 2016. Things must have changed since the reviews of January 2015!! The charges are steep but consider the cost of providing the facilities - the shop for instance is there with stock to save you driving about 180km on the off chance that you forgot something. The facilities were stretched but the place was chockers being... More

Its been a few years since I stayed at the "Dukes" nothing has changed. The location is one of the best surrounded by amazing crisp white beaches with crystal clear blue water. The park needs a bit of updating though. The ablution block shower heads were sparse with just a trickle of water, new heads would make the world of... More

Having visited this park at least 3 times a year over the last 12years in all weathers and seasons, we have come to the conclusion if you want 5star stay in Esperance or the city! If you want a true camping experience come to the Duke, the staff are very friendly but prepared to be one of many in peak... More

Duke of Orleans bay and Wharton Beach offer spectacular views in a pristine environment. Plenty of exploring to do or relaxing at the beach. The caravan park backs onto the bay and a short walk you are on a beach overlooking Table Island (worth the short rock scramble up) but a short 2 min drive gets you to Wharton Beach... More

Basics facilities but great place to get away from it all. Visited at Easter and was a great place for kids, the park owners even arranged for the easter bunny to visit! Great playground for kids and tennis court. Had a relaxing stay most days you are out at the beaches and seeing the sites, so the caravan park is... More

I've been staying at the Orleans Bay Caravan park for over 12 years, and we have owned our own house there for 8. The caravan park for people planning to stay at the campsites is a true camping experience and is definitely not for people afraid of roughing it, and this basic set up should reflect in the pricing, but...
