Turn off Samuel Road and go down the long driveway to the house. The carport for guests (2 parks - one for each unit) is at the far end of the house. A key safe is located on the back of the verandah post near the front door (you should have received the code). There are 3 keys for main...

Hi Chris and Olga Thank you for staying with us. We enjoyed the drink and nibbles with you on the back verandah - the first outside for a long time due to our wet weather this year. Thank you for your comments I am sure Kerrie and Spence will take this on board when they take over from us at...

Beautifully presented room - had everything we needed. The breakfast provisions were unbelievable - the best yogurt I've ever had - all local produce supplied. Kerrie & Spence were so helpful - even bringing us back fresh croissants from the Saturday morning market to add to already well supplied breakfast. highly recommend The Paddocks for a great getaway. Will definitely...

We arrived a little late but Jayne greeted us on arrival, which was a lovely personal touch. On a cold night, our accommodation was lovely, warm and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed the country atmosphere and relaxed environment of this B&B. It's proximity to local towns and wineries made it a pleasure to be in the area. Jayne's advice on Whistler...

Hi JGT25 Thank you for your review. It was lovely to meet you both. It is nice to think that you can have the solace of the country but still only be 5 minutes down the road either way to wineries, restaurants and local shopping. Hopefully we will see you back again soon. Jaye

Our first time to the Barossa and The Paddocks was a perfect base to work from. We had the Vineyard suite which was well presented and very comfortable with a nice fire place that was used each night. Our stay started with a lovely plate of cheese and cold meats plus a pick of a bottle of red from the...

Hi Robin It was lovely to meet you both and I love the fact that while you were sitting down here in your suite drinking a Hubert Irving Whistler Wine your friend was sitting in Brisbane doing the same thing. Isn't Hentley Farm amazing. We must get back there again - I just love the theatre that goes with eating...

We stayed here on our way from Kangaroo Island to Flinders Ranges. Bedroom and living room is well furnished and you have a nice place outside in the garden, where you can enjoy a drink or your breakfast. When arrived we were invited for a glass of wine or two together with the owners at that time, Chris and Jayne,...

Many thanks for your review Mariola24. We are very fortunate that we can sometimes be available to have drinks with people and offer to take them to their restaurant. Due to local commitments this cannot always happen but we treasure them when we do get these opportunities. Hope you enjoyed the Flinders Ranges. Jayne

As with the rest of the reviews, Jane and Chis are excellent hosts. They are retiring soon though occasionally stepping in - I hope the new hosts are as outstanding and that Chris leaves his fabulous selection of books. The location is perfect as a takeoff point for Barossa tasting.Ultra central.. Air conditioning/heating: superb Kitchenette well equipped with fruit yogurt,...

Often when travelling on business you find the accommodation is simply not up to par. My stay at Whistlers Farm, was absolutely brilliant. I was made to feel welcome before I even arrived, through great communication. Quaint rooms but so comfortable. Great views. Our visit to The Paddocks at Whistler Farm was too brief. I would like to have had longer to explore and enjoy the tranquil and relaxed setting of the farm. We had an amazing time here. It was a great place to get away for a long weekend while still being close to all the amazing wineries and restaurants the Barossa has to offer. It was a very comfortable place to put your feet up after a long day bike riding and wine tasting!
