This is a great spot to spend a weekend (or longer). The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, the lounge room is cosy and the main street of Angaston is in walking distance - what more could you ask for? And of course, there are lots of supplies for a filling breakfast - yum!

This accomodation was first class. My husband and I have stayed at many lovely places over the years but never found a place like this where it feels like you are walking into someone's beautiful old cottage with all the lovely little extras catered for and more. Thank you for making our stay in the Barossa so special!

This is our third visit to Acorn Cottage and it didn't fail to impress. This was for my wife's birthday with some friends so we booked both Acorn & Walnut cottages plus 10 on French next door. Awesome weekend and, as always, awesome accommodation! We met Sue & Ken as we were leaving - friendly couple which explains why the...

Acorn and Walnut cottages for a group of friends for a long weekend in the Barossa was the perfect place to stay! We so enjoyed our stay here, and would love to come back. The cottages are beautifully finished inside and out. So comfortable, full recycled aircon, and with a fire place and fully equipped kitchen! The thoughtful touches everywhere,...

From the moment we walked in the door to a nice warm place it felt like home. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need including a beautiful breakfast. The warm and inviting fireplace which was great to light and sit around with my friends was a nice way to enjoy our wines and cheese we collected through the...

We arrived ar Acorn Cottage on a very cold wintery afternoon and were delighted to find that Sue had left the reverse cycle heater running in the cottage for us, a great welcome. The cottage - house - is set on a large block with an interesting garden, including fruit trees. The kitchen was fully equipped, and full breakfast provisions...

Every need and want catered for, or within easy reach; excellent base for exploring the Barossa valley and region; quiet and peaceful location... Just, perfect. The thoughtful touches throughout the house, the home made crusty bread, Anzac slice and fudge, and wine - and add on cheese platter and matched wine - are just some of the features that make...

We were lucky to stay at the delightful Acorn cottage in Angaston in April. After reading great reviews on trip advisor I decided to book. We were not disappointed. Immaculately clean, spacious, thoughtful extras, and very informative details of what to see, eat and indulge ourselves with in the Barossa Valley. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you for...
