Unfortunately Overpriced!! Photos on website glorify the rooms (which is not uncommon). It is quaint & quirky in a gorgeous location but in comparison to hundreds of hotels and resorts I have visited worldwide, the basic expectations for this price bracket even in peak season are not met. My advice, take your own coffee & tea.

Just stayed in the Lombok room. It is a bit confusing between a Balinese shack and a modern studio room. Please one way or the other. It was clean and well equipped and great size TV and comfy bed. A problem was the 2nd side door that opens right at the bed. It had outside lighting beaming into room at... More

Not beachfront. Not luxurious, not a 2 bed apartment-1 bedroom and main bed in room with table and chairs, not an apartment-no lounge,no full kitchen,no laundry. No privacy-endless doors and windows. Pipes made a noise and every step from people above was heard. Place did not have a balcony or an ocean view. Parking was down or up the road.Given a form... More

To check in we had to phone a number to be told to just go into the room the key was inside. We didnt see an actual person the whole stay. The room was disappointing. We didnt sleep well as the room was very musty and gave me the sniffles all night. After an inedible meal at the pub down... More

8 friends and I rented all four apartments at Sovereign Lodge, and we couldn't have been happier with the house and location. A two minute walk to the pub, though the walk back uphill is a bit of a struggle after a couple of beers. Great views from the deck. Admin was friendly and helpful.

Upon arriving at 1770 Sovereign Lodge, I felt at ease the minute I walked into the Balinese themed penthouse. The atmosphere surrounding the hillside villa is nothing short of amazing and the view as you walk in is breath taking. I can't wait to return for another holiday.

Only 50 metres from The Trees Restaurant and Bar, the walk along the esplanade and with a great view of the estuary. We loved our 2-room apartment, and our dog was also welcome, which is very hard to come by outside caravan parks! The rooms were outfitted in gorgeous style, and had everything you could possibly need. Mara was lovely... More

Great place to stay with amazing views, friendly staff, clean and well maintained. I would recommend either Nusa Dua or more affordable Lambok and you can check other rooms at their website http://www.1770sovereignlodge.com.au/about-us

Have to agree with some of the negative reviews. The notices in the room were off putting! The design of the bathroom - power point above the toilet, mirror on the other side of the room was bizarre. We weren't sure if the room was to be serviced during our three night stay but arrived one day to see a... More

Thank you for your review. We now put a new blinds for the window near the bed. We don't mean to offend anyone about our signs As most accommodation have signs too. The signs have to be put up due to the fact that unfortunately some guests have left the apartments in a disgusting mess. Your comments are valued and... More
