#9 of 12 Specialty lodging in Karumba
Situated at the mouth of the Norman River as it heads out to the fishing waters of the Gulf of Carpentaria - you can't get accommodation in Karumba any closer to the water. Gone Fishin' Holiday Units offers you a self catering style of accommodation that allows for a comfortable and relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle, or is a great place to hang your rod after a hard day's fishing.

Tanya was a fantastic host. Made the guys and I on Adventure Bikes so welcome. Looked after all our requests. Across the road from the Sunset Tavern. Couldn't be happier. Highly recommended for 4 bike riders!

Very clean, spacious and close to every thing. Had good cooking facilities and plenty of room for car and boat. Walking distance to see the seating sun and have a few beers at the sunset tavern. Host were friendly with good advise on things to do and where to get best meals.

Group of mates travelled to Karumba to chase some Barra and stayed at Gone Fishing. The Managers Tanya and Simon were awesome, super helpful and friendly which made our stay that much better. The apartments were extremely clean and tidy, with all of the amenities and even fish cleaning tables. Perfectly located close to the water and directly across the road from the Sunset Tavern, it is ideal for small groups. I can't recommend enough!!

After a long drive from Georgetown was so nice and easy to find unit. The reception was very friendly and book in was smooth thanks Tanya. Spent a couple of nights here and so close to beach for the sunset show and a nice Tavern across the road. The unit was very clean and the split system cooled the room very fast. Self contained and if you don't feel like cooking the Tavern has meals or try a great burger or fish and chips from Ash's Guest House Café all within walking distance.
