I stayed here for business, and I seriously don’t get all the bad reviews! The staff were lovely and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, perfect for an overnight stay. Considering I paid $82 for the night, it’s an absolute steal. If you want to stay in Hilton comfort, go and pay Hilton prices. I’ll be staying nowhere else next time I visit Ipswich.
This motel is the worst place I have ever stayed in. It us the dirtiest, gross rundown and untidy place ever. Very noisy with no consideration. I would not recommend this motel at all. It also smells .
It was late, I was tired and I could park a truck, then the sign said it had a restaurant. Well the check in was quick, the room I had allocated w looked reasonable on a quick inspection - but--- 1. there was no restaurant 2 there were no blankets on the bed, just the fitted bed covers (I did not discove tthis until reception was closed) 3 the shower was mouldy 4 the shower rose had been drilled out with a large drill bit, so there was plenty of water, but a bit like a waterfall, not a spray 5 the fly screen did not fit the open back window and louvers. 6 the curtains on the front window were falling off the rail so they did not keep the bright lights out. I could go on, but had I had time to read other reviews I would not have stayed and I will never stay again.
Not a good word to say. I guess you pay for what you get but not even worth $99 a night. WiFi is nothing unless you stand outside. No food. Air con is noisy. Pool is green. Ipswich suffers from the worst accommodation I have ever experienced but this place is the worst.
Occasionally you expect to strike a good but modified deal at some of our cheaper motels but our stay at this motel did not fill the bill. The surrounds are really unattractive and seemingly unclean with the swimming pool closed. The rubbish at the bottom of the pool was a sight to behold. There were also many younger children running wild and screaming around the premises. Not good. The room was, as you might expect, a cheaper room ((paid around $86.00) but it was only a quick overnight stay as we had to leave early the following morning. Strangely enough the bed was comfortable and appointments not too bad but not too good either. Not much more to say but if you're looking for a cheap overnight stay in a reasonable motel for the money then maybe this is not the one!
