We have been here many times but the new management are atrocious. Not sure why they are in the hospitality business. By all means stay but expect long lists of rules and someone checking up on you at least 3 times a day. Dogs not allowed from the end of December 2016. A real shame!

The title says it all..! This place is a hidden gem only minutes from the township, right on the estuary ,perfect for launching a boat or watching the amazing golden sunsets. It's one of the better places to stay in Rainbow Beach. We have been seasoned campers, enjoying having a camp fire and space around us, knowing clean facilities aren't too...

I wouldn't go to this campingground anymore! The staff is very unfriendly! They didn't care about our wishes and also the bathrooms were very dirty! Also the campingsites were really narrow and Small!

Dear Tamara Thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback, we were sorry to read that your accommodation expectations were not met. As you can see from previous reviews we are consistently commended for our large campsites and friendly staff so we’re wondering if you’ve confused us with another park in the area? We invite you to...

This was our first time at Rainbow beach. We read all the reviews of this campsite and the other one in town. We decided to listen to the bad reviews of Rainbow Waters and book at the more popular one in town. Wow were we wrong! The other campsite was packed to the rafters and did not cater well for...

My boyfriend and I spent the long weekend camping here and it is a good place to camp. We just had an unpowered site and I like the flexibility of having a spot wherever you liked - there is so much space in the campground itself plus then an additional 23 acres of bush camping! Be sure to take plenty...

We stayed in the non powered camp section of the park. There was plenty of room (and it was quite at night) with a well equipped camp kitchen if you needed it. The park itself is on the water and one of the highlights is the sunset over the water way. The only down side for the park was the...

Rainbow Waters has had some very mixed reviews and I have to admit I was nervous about making a booking here. I shouldn't have been. We were camping in our camper trailer, Miss12 was in a tent and we had our dog with us, plus we were staying with 2 other families, one which also had a dog. We had...

We had an unpowered site so we were able to choose where we wanted to park our caravan. Large bush area to choose from and wasn't crowded. Great camp kitchen with pizza oven and small oven. Large and clean amenities block. Location close to Rainbow beach and attractions and boat ramp down the road. powered sites were a bit expensive.

We spent a few nights there and found the park to be clean and quiet. It has a variety of sites but plenty of natural ones in between trees. The sunsets from their private jetty are magnificent. Dear Wendy B Thank you so much for your lovely review, the sunsets are pretty spectacular aren't they! Great to hear you came prepared and weren't bothered by the pesky neighbours, unfortunately midges are amongst one of the most complicated pest species to control and cannot be eradicated. In comparison to mosquitoes, poisoning midges does not work due to their...
