We really enjoyed this lovely place. It's leafy & heaps of room for everyone. The hosts could not have been more helpful, it was very hot & we had a cool spot & in walking distance to the Springs. They were a lot of fun & a highlight of our stay. The amenities needed a little maintenance but the showers... More

It is first in gets a powered site here. At $35 per night we checked in and the people are lovely. The best part about this park is that it is off the highway and about 3kms out of town You are given a map and left to find a spot. There are no numbers on any of the sites... More

Friendly owners with helpful advice. Amenities looked basic but were clean and very functional. Camp kitchen clean with sink, fridge, toaster and kettle, big table and benches. Good location within walking distance of the Bitter Springs apparently the best Springs in district.

I camped here for one night and could have easily stayed longer. It's really lovely. It's only a short walk to the thermal pool, and they hire you a noodle for $1 for the duration of your stay. Also, for a campground the showers are fantastic!

We stayed in a cabin for one night. It was very basic but clean and contained all we needed. The cabins are quite old, but everything works. The cabins are a way out of town, but there is a kiosk at the park that has the basics. Probably geared more for caravanners and campers , but our stay was pleasant.

We stayed here for one night in a powered site, quite close to the amenities. They wouldn't let us book ahead for one night which was quite annoying. When we arrived late in the afternoon we were very lucky to get one of the 3 remaining spots. Sites aren't marked so hard to work out what spot they send you... More

I stayed at the park for one night, it was getting late in the day and several people had turned up at once. The host said to pick your own place so that's what I did only for another employee come past on the bike and demand I check in. The way it was communicated was confrontational to say the... More

My partner and I decided to stop in at the Mataranka Thermal Pool. As it was getting late and the Bitter Springs park was near by, we thought we would get a site to park up and set our swag for the night. An unpowered site was $15AUD per adult. The camp kitchen was very small and only had one... More

Park is untidy and needs dead growth removed .Toilet blocks are unisex and are o.k It cost $35.00 per night but they let you in after 9 a.m. and you can pick your own site. Great location, with a 10 minute walk to Bitter Springs but get there early in the morning to enjoy floating down the spring without the... More
