Firstly let me say if you are a "Powder Puff tourist,"The Banyan Tree Caravan and Tourist Park is not for you. We only stumbled upon it quite by accident, and we are so glad we did....... On arrival our hostess Elka put us completely at ease with her warm friendly welcome and told us about the locations, and the highlights... More

I stayed here for one night. It's nice enough and the staff are friendly but too expensive for what it is ($29 for a powered site for 1 person). Also the shower wasn't any good, there wasn't much hot water and there wasn't a good flow

Stayed a night on a powered site. This is a no frills place but was clean enough. The owners were lovely. The pool was covered and nice. It could use a cleaning but it was just leaves. The site was shady. It was a good value. They serve filtered coffee but it was nice.

We didn't stay here, and I'm glad. We popped in to ask about a campsite and see if they'd let us have a small campfire or fire drum. After waiting about five minutes before even being acknowledged (the woman was talking to another group), I then asked and she was extremely rude about it, saying "NOOOO!" and looking at us... More

Female travelling on my own. I booked a cabin for 2 x nights the day before. I wasn't keen to leave a deposit. So didn't. The owner was not very happy that I wanted to inspect the cabin when I got there. Saying, "But you booked it". I stood my ground. And after a shaky start, once I paid she... More

I had booked a powered site on their web site. After 3 days without any response or confirmation, I call the place to ask what's up, the guys quickly explained that the office was busy but that "yes yes, the powered sites are always available BYE BYE !" ... Gee, I wonder why.

We stayed on a powered site for a week with our Camper Trailer. If you do not need Bouncy cushions or playground this is a great no frills park , the owners have a "nothing is to much trouble " attitude and are very welcoming , the thrice weekly sausage sizzle under the Banyan tree is a real plus ,... Enjoyed staying in a cabin for one night when visiting Litchfield National Park. After getting off to a shaky start with the owner on arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the cabin - nice furniture and comfortable bed - and had a good night's sleep. Facilities are what you would expect from a campsite and there were wallabies hopping about... More
