We arrived here in the mid-afternoon and were instantly depressed. The site office is in an old shipping container and we were greeted by someone who made it clear he was just filling in for the manager. Our powered camper van site was dusty and pretty shadeless, but that may be unavoidable in this part of the park... we had... More

If you had your own tent or camper trailer/caravan, and are fully equipped, the campsites are nice, and close to the beautiful Wangi Falls, Florence Falls and Buley Rocks Holes, and perhaps you can put up with a substandard toilet block, but please do not think about staying in a safari tent. They need to be bulldozed. We stayed in... More

We booked through phone, reached late and found the owner was missing, waited for 2 hours, honked, screamed yelled. Finally, we searched the camp ourself and camped in it. The room was average, just that it's got old and maintenance was null. Don't expect the phone to work, the owner forgets things. Get your own food, insect repeller and probably... More

We just left the Safari Camp today. It's in a great location right near all the swimming holes and waterfalls of beautiful Litchfield National Park. It's a pity the Camp is so run down. We stayed in a four bed basic tent. Although our beds were comfortable the tent was quite mouldy. The communal fridge was the worst fridge I... More

Easy drive from Litchfield NP even along the small unsealed section. Spent one night here with an unpowered site which costed 25 dollars. Lots of space to select from. Limited supplies at shop and caretaker was helpful when arriving and not so when leaving - asked if could pump tyres = too hard! And spent the whole night trying to... More

We had decided to stay here but thought we would check out the toilet blocks first. Much to our surprise, the one we chose was very poor so we moved on. I cannot say if this criticism applies to them all and our reaction certainly was at odds with the campsite website's view about itself. My advice is check out... More

We stayed at this 'camp' for a night when we visited Litchfield and was far from impressed. While we expected the camp to be rustic we were very underwhelmed. Upon arrival we had to figure out which trailer was the reception and the receptionist acted as if we were an inconvenience especially when asking if they had a map of... More

We checked in here for one night in our camper van. The site itself was okay from there it deteriorated, the shower block and toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned for weeks, cobwebs everywhere, rubbish bins over flowing Old wrecked vehicles everywhere. The cost similar to other camps in the area but not worth half. Time for these owners... More

We are a pretty simple family and only require a few things from anywhere we stay. Firstly we expect clean amenities and camp grounds. The staff at this camp, one person was friendly enough. However the amenities block was in very poor conditions. We saw several red backs in the door ways and roof cavities of the toilets. None of... More

We were having a lovely time in the park and rocked up in the late afternoon. Quite expensive for what is there. There pools are above ground, small and not particularly clean. Nothing was clean really. Reception was not particularly pleasant. Sites were not cared for. I do not recommend.
