Stayed for one night while visiting Litchfield park, its about one hours drive. The room was fine, bed was comfortable, room had a tv with not great reception, coffee making facilities, a fridge. There were bed side tables and plenty of power points. We had dinner there, adult menu items start at 24 dollars. My steak meal was excellent. WiFi... More

This is a wonderful place to stay - especially for families - when visiting the sights of nearby Litchfield National Park. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The food tasty. The pricing represents good value. The butterflies are great but the real gems are all the farm animals. My guess is that there are 40 rabbits to meet -... More

We had a great time staying here as a base for exploring Litchfield. Chris has a marvelously endearing chaotic nature that drives the uniqueness of this place. Each enormous cabin is decorated according to theme and our kids thought it was wonderful! They also adored feeding the rabbits and other animals - Chris kindly offered them cut up carrots to... It was a last minute decision to actually put the Butterfly farm on our agenda, but totally we did as it was well worth it. We didn't know what we're in for when we first walked in the chap that runs the place is out there, but is fantastic and is very knowledgable and passionate about what he has built... More

Batchelor is the place to base yourself for Leitchfield National park. We enjoyed staying at the Butterfly farm with one exception. On positive, Chris is character, meals were nice and relatively good value (there are few choices in Batchelor and the other options were very expensive). The butterflies were worth seeing. The rooms were large and beds comfortable. There was... More

We visited this little gem while on Christmas holidays. The butterfly's were not at their best as they had not come into breeding season yet but there was many other things to keep the kids amused. Rabbits, goats, pigs, ducks which you can hand feed. They have a great pool for a swim on a hot day and they do... More

loved the people, the farm and the relaxed atmosphere. The pool is perfect for little and big kids. The butterflies are well looked after and our dinner was delicious. We cant wait to go back. Thanks Chris for an amazing time at your beautiful farm.

Mature aged couple who visited for lunch and tour. Butterflies were beautiful in lovely spacious setting. Other animals of rabbits, geese, pigs and donkeys would entertain children (animal feed provided as part of tour). Lunch was a wide selection with the Barra in coconut oil and the Nasi goreng very enjoyable.

Had a meal here. Certainly not of any high standard. Food was quite bland. We had the pork and chicken. Nice surrounds and a very cosy feel in a nice location, but take insect repellant with you. A good selection of drinks available and plenty of fans around to stay cool.

A simply welcoming and individual stop over! Colourful, eccentric and relaxing atmosphere. The owner Chris with his colourful personality made our tour group feel so welcome.A perfect place to stop for some refreshments, purchase some butterfly accessories or simply sit back and sip on a freshly squeezed lemon juice and enjoy the ambience. The kids will love the little hidden quirks.
