Our property is in a fabulous location it is located directly between downtown Omaha and Omaha's Eppley Airfield. We back up to a lake with beautiful views of the lake out back and trees and a large field out front. We are the closest hotel to the Airport and have an indoor heated pool and Jacuzzi Hot tub. I started working as General Manager after retirement from the Air Force one year ago and know we are the nicest hotel with the best value in the area.

I have been staying at this hotel for about 20 years, every time I fly out of Omaha. It is conveniently located to the airport and they do have a shuttle. It is also close to the Old Market and it is inexpensive.

However, I have watched this property deteriorate over the last 10 years or so, and no one seems inclined to make any improvements. I am frankly surprised that Wyndham wants their name associated with this place.

It seems that the pool has been closed for the last two years, or at least it has been closed every time I’ve come in the last two years. I think it would be nice if they let us know that on their website.

The grounds and lobby area now appear pretty shabby. They are relatively clean, although the lobby floor is extremely sticky. The carpet and paint in the hallways could use touching up or replacing.

Upon check-in, I asked about a wake up, call, which they’ve always done, and the guy at the desk said they don’t do that anymore. I said, but you have alarm clocks in the room, right? He replied that they did, and some of them work and some don’t. I usually use my phone anyway, but I like a back up. Oh well.

They’ve gotten rid of hairdryers in the rooms. Also coffee makers and phones.

There are large patches on the walls where the paint has chipped away. The shower curtain was completely mildewed. The toilet had not been cleaned adequately. The bathroom floor in the corners looked pretty gross.

The best thing I can say about this place is the beds are very comfortable, the TVs work, and the staff have always been friendly.

My general impression was that they are just waiting for this hotel to crumble to the ground. Wyndham, you can do much better.

The building is old but it appears that they are updating each room. My room was much nicer and completely remodeled compared to the pictures online. The elevator was out of service as well as the ice machine, the pool and the TV cable boxes had issues but the staff was kind and went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable, so we didn’t miss anything.

Stayed here before flying out early the next morning. Had a shuttle to take us to the airport and in the middle of winter took full advantage of their indoor parking while we were gone for a week. Very reasonable. Wonderful when getting back at midnight to have your car all ready and running when the temps were zero degrees. Would def stay here again.

First, I got in the room and the AC was very loud we weren't able to call the front desk because there was no working phone plus we checked in very late. In the morning I was woken up by extremely loud guest. The bed was on an angle that didn't seem stable and when we woke up and got dressed there was not much room to sit anywhere else but on the bed and my mom sat down and the bed completely went unbalanced. We told the front and left for a few hours came back and we were given a different room. My mom went to get our stuff from the other room and no one had cleaned or fixed anything.

In the new room the tv didn’t work until I reset it myself. The room smelled a bit odd. But besides that it was okay. Until the next morning when someone tried to come in our room luckily the door latch was on I assume it was a staff because it sounded like them, but that means no one talked to anyone about having to switch a guest.

The ice machine was not working and fortunately the clerk gave me some, but we were paying a lot for the room the ice machine should work with all the guest that were staying there.

I knew the price was up because of the sporting events in the area and that this hotel was cheap, but the price I paid for the room was horrible with how poorly this hotel handled things. Thankfully my mom and I had a blast at the event, but next time we will look for a better place to stay.

This place is not pet or service animal friendly. They charge you $150 deposit that is not disclosed until you arrive. Then they keep most of your deposit. They said the room stunk but it didnt smell good when we checked in. They lied and said my service dogs urinated in the room they did not. I even shampooed the carpets because they said they were keeping $75 of my deposit. After I did that they kept $100 of my deposit even though I used brissel pet shampoo and sanitizer deodorize in the the shampooer. There was a little blood on the bedding because I had had surgery on my hand and it bled through the dressing. They claimed the room was trashed it was not. We even took the garbage out to the dumpster. Do not stay here they will come up with a reason to keep your deposit. They charge everyone the deposit not just those with animals. The pool and hot tub were closed, there was no microwave or mini fridge in any room like the web site said. It was very noisy and the side doors are not accessible with you key like they should be.there was remodeling going on and stuff in the hallways making it difficult to get through them. It was a terrible experience.

Booked two room for an early morning flight the next day.
Rooms were OK but that is the only positive.

NO breakfast at all. Apparently yogurt shipment didn't come in or something. No coffee.
"Free" airport shuttle is true BUT then the company comes and gets your car and takes it to PAID parking.
All the things that made me choose this hotel were not really provided. (free parking, breakfast)

The first room I was given, the television did not work nor did the lamps in between the 2 queen beds. Both the 2nd and 3rd room I was given also did not have televisions that worked. The 4th room I was given had 1 of the 2 beds broken - the bed sagged greatly in the middle but it was oddly more comfortable and decided not to request a 5th try at a usable room. The ATM, ice machine, and washer/dryer are ALL out of order. The floors ans stairs were filthy and badly in need of vacuuming. They still only offer a tiny bagged "breakfast" which I declined, still under the guise of the coronavirus as the excuse for not doing the regular breakfast. Most hotels have been serving their regular breakfast for quite awhile now. The only reason I give this place 2 /5 instead of 1/5 is because the person at the front desk genuinely did try to help me find a suitable room even though it took several attempts and a suitable room was really never found. I strongly suggest avoiding this place and I won't be staying here again.

Asked for cancellation a couple hours after reservation made due to change in flight (airlines are a mess right now) but request denied. Do not plan on booking with Super 8 again if they cannot make any accommodations for circumstances out of a persons control. Gave low review because no value for my money if not used.

Suite was over priced, run down and dirty. We checked back out and would not stay the night (that should tell you how dissatisfied we were). The couch was old, dirty, and worn. Curtains were falling off the rod, bathroom was dirty, key card machine was broken (so we didn't even get a key to go in and out. Ice machine was broken and pool was closed due to not functioning. I honestly felt bad for the woman who worked there. She tried her best but ultimately apologized and understood why we were leaving.

Dirty spa tub(had food crumbs from previous people), dirty bed sheets (we luckily brought our own). None of the staffs had face masks, the window to our room the screen was cut up which meant anyone could of came into our room through the window. Definitely would not stay here again.

We have a valet parking service, the reason we use this method is; Our insurance would not cover your car if it's parked in our lot while your not staying with us and in many cases your insurance would not cover your vehicle under those conditions either. It's a liability issue. We contract a shuttle service to take you to and from the airport and they also have a parking service that will long term park your car at $4.25 a day outdoor parking and $6.50 a day for covered parking. We get rave reviews about this service and your picked up at our front door and then let out at United, American, what ever your flying. Sincerely Mark.

how often does the shuttle to Eppley run?

Our shuttle runs 24/7 but for departing the hotel to the airport it's much easier to have a schedule set up. Our shuttle starts taking people to the Airport from the hotel at 4:15 am (our hotel breakfast starts at 4am and is open until 10 am for the early fliers) and runs every half hour, so 4:15, 4:45, 5:15, 5:45 and so on. When you arrive at the airport there is a courtesy phone at the baggage claim area and you just dial the number listed next to the phones at door 2 and 5 there are two phones on a waist level stainless steel counter. We will send the shuttle to pick you up, any time 24/7, they will take you to our property. Hope this helps, if you have any more questions let me know, Mark.
