This site is great, was really quiet, and the toilet facilities were good. Close to Croyde bay so could go bodyboarding, you also get access to the facilities at Ruda holiday park so very good value for money

All about the location but you better be sitting down when they tell you how much they want for two nights. 2adults plus 2under 12s Saturday and Sunday = £136-00. Supply and demand I guess but well over the top. Oh and then it's 9 quid for your car mate. Told him we had no tent as it was a... More

Due to its proximity to the coast, we stayed at this campsite on the last night of walking a section of the SW Coast Path. After stumbling into Croyde, tired and hungry we found no signs to show where the campsite actually was and ended up in the holiday park reception which is a 15 min walk away. Thankfully (after... The fields by the sand dunes are picturesque. 10 minute walk to Croyde along a metalled path. Younger crowd mostly but not too noisy. Basic but clean amenities. Staff friendly and hats off to Claire who lent me her personal phone to access the internet when I had no reception and was locked out of my car; so pleasant and... More

The most expensive campsite we've ever stayed on doesn't give you much for your money except the location. Freezing showers in the men's, no toilet roll or hand towels in the women's and all facilities in 1 set of portacabins for a lot of people. Apparently you can use the facilities at the holiday camp a 20 minute walk away.... More

Having camped in Croyde several times previously and walked quite a way (In a wetsuit with a board bag!) from Bay View Campsite, I decided to stay at surfers paradise due to its prime location. The Campsite is literally behind the sand dunes that line the back of the beach taking less than five minutes to walk to the beach.... More

Stayed a couple of nights. It had everything we needed and was close to town. More importantly it was close to the beach. No complaints here. Good facilities for showering and cleaning items. The shop could've done with being a little better stocked but, as mentioned, town was so close

I stayed here with my boyfriend last week and we were instantly greeted by the lovely people who work there, we were told that we could pitch up anywhere and so we went to the top field which was very quiet for the first few days and it was so lovely to relax and have a nice time. The same... More

We love this site, we having been coming here every opening weekend for lnger than I can recall. The location is amazing and atmosphere is great. Sadly this year things have changed. Usually there are three fields open for camping. Last weekend was different, they only opened the middle sized field, and they just kept sending them in. The overcrowding... More

We were three couples and we loved this campsite! The location is fantastic, only 3 mins walk from the beach and 5 mins to Croyde itself. The place is stunning and the beach is lovely though it does get very crowded for surfing. The people who run it are really friendly and helpful. The ground is nice and flat for... More
