We booked The Whiteleaf as last minute accommodation without knowing much about it. We were so glad that we went for this option as our stay was great. The house has a cute garden which was plenty of seating if you wish to enjoy it, and some of the rooms have a balcony. We were lucky that we got to... More

What a super find in lovely Croyde! Welcoming, clean, homely and friendly. A lovely short stroll to the beach or into the village. Just a great base to head off from. If you do stay, and you should, then try the haddock and cheese omelette for breakfast, yummy! We will be back, I love Croyde and this is certainly a... More

We stayed two years ago whilst travelling around without booking and decided to revisit. Sue gave us a lovely welcome, as she did on our first visit. Out of the four B&B's we stayed in this week I can honestly say this was the best and I had the best nights sleep I have had in a long time. As... More

Been to Croyde many times but stayed here for bank holiday weekend for the first time. Fabulous little place with attentive hosts. Great room with balcony, including all good quality furnishings. Lovely house with lounge and garden. The breakfast was fabulous with good, freshly prepared food. There was also a mini bar in the room (with drinks available also in... More

Superb B&B. A very warm welcome from Sue upon my arrival and a pot of tea and some cake which was just what I needed after the long drive. Room 5 was huge, with a four poster bed and two singles, plus a large luxury bathroom. Quiet at night. Very clean and well equipped. Fresh milk in the mini bar... More

I was in Croyde and the place I was staying was overbooked so we were put up here. There was a friendly welcome when I got there and shown the room, which was lovely. The hotel is in a easy walk from the beach and there was also a balcony to sit on if so required as well. The breakfast... More

We went to The Whiteleaf to celebrate the life of my mother in law we can only say both David & Sue, the owners were outstanding in every way. In addition to their outstanding kindness they also provide outstanding food & accommodation. A highly recommended establishment!

From the exterior of the property it looked promising, after all it was 4star rated...the lady that greeted us was very nice & yes they had a room available that evening. Room 3- The interior was terribly dated & pretty shabby, the room itself appeared clean but it was like stepping back to the late 80's early 90's. The shower... More

Stayed for 1 night. We had room 3 which was adequate however has a connecting door to another room. Let's just say you can hear everything inc what's happening in the bathroom. So if you like your privacy I wouldn't reccomend. I noticed a comment in another review about the house smelling of cooking oil, this is most certainly the... More

We stayed here for one night just before our wedding, upon arrival we were upgraded to a larger room for free because they knew we were getting married, which we thought was really lovely of them. The room was large with a four poster bed, 2 single beds, put up beds in the wardrode and even a spare mattress under... More
