I can definitely recommend this hotel! Beautiful view, clean hotel, very nice staff, good restaurant, very good breakfast, big rooms, good hiking paths and comfortable outside areas. If you are looking for a good wedding location, this hotel would be it😃
Excellent hotel, spacious clean rooms, awesome breakfast and great service. Only 18 rooms located on 3 floors, big swimming pool and cosy SPA with sauna and indoor swimming pool. Unforgettable experience. Highly recommended.
AVOID! This is hands down the worst hotel experience I have ever had, this is in no way a 5 star hotel, I would say more like 3 stars. The place is dirty, the sink and shower in the room were broken and the service was by far the worst part. On our last day we complained and told the hotel about our awful experience in which they told us they would give us a free massage( which was very nice the lady was lovely) and a free lunch, however we never received the free lunch promised and had to pay after we had eaten We then asked the lady to book us a taxi for 5pm as we had a bus to catch and she said she would. We arrived at 5pm and no taxi had been booked for us and she was avoiding us sitting in the back room while leaving another man to deal with this. We had to wait 45 minutes for a taxi and missed our bus back to Barcelona leaving us having to pay for another bus ticket, waiting for two hours in the bus station and missing our plans in Barcelona for the night. If you are used to staying in 5 star hotels you will not be happy with the service or amenities at this establishment. DISGRACE…
The scenery is great including the restaurant, spa and swimming pool. The rooms are underwhelming and definitely not a 4 or 5 star hotel. It is not well maintained and needs a renovation. Staff and service of the hotel is minimal. Restaurant service and quality of food was very good.
Great get away. Far from the overly touristic Lloret. Nature immersed hotel with great rooms and facilities, very kind staff. Breakfast had home made sweet buffet... awesome. could of used a bit more hot dishes
Stayed there with my kids and in the lovely room a cupboard came lose which broke my Serengeti sunglasses. Hotel manager promised to refund my sun glasses immediately. Since then no professional follow up, I get blah blah answers and manager Eli is telling me his is tired of this sh*t.... Am still hoping for this to be solved and to be treated like you'd expect from a real 5* hotel.. Am willing to change my feedback after I get my 170 euro sunglasses refunded....
Stayed here one night with my 17 and 20 year old girls mid vacation after a week in the city to mix it up and do some spa R and R before heading down to Costa Brava We happened to check in at the same time as a VIP client so idk if that was the issue but my Spanish is good enough to understand we were not welcome tourists. The front desk was quick to move us along. I went back later to inquire about use of the spa and dinner and was treated pretty much the same like I was bothering them. We ended up just staying in for the evening and not enjoying either. Our grand suite was very comfortable. The next morning we found our own way to breakfast and the wait staff was refreshingly lovely and the highlight of our short visit. We asked to use the indoor spa facilities the next morning and had to go back to the desk a couple of times to get someone to help us out. However we saw couples escorted to their lockers and given fresh towels and keys. I was very disapointed in our stay. What we had hoped would be a special highight to our trip turned out to be a sour spot for us.…
This is a beautiful setting, away from the chaos of Lloret de Mar. The outdoor patio overlooking the pool and with views to the sea is great. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly, and the attached restaurant which is run as a separate business is FANTASTIC (try the tasting menu, explore the wine list). I could not open my room's window and the air conditioning seemed to keep shutting itself off every few hours, but this was not a huge issue (just a slight annoyance). At times, it felt the staff didn't know what to do -- suggesting it's "not allowed" that we eat our breakfast outside instead of in a less comfortable indoor dining area, or what to charge for the advertised laundry service (they came up with a fair price after some work). The pool is lovely and relaxing. The biggest change I would suggest is the breakfast. It is very basic food and the quality is not very good. For 15 Euros per person it is NOT worth it, but other options are a few kilometers away, so there is no convenient alternative. Additionally, the dining area where it is served is a poor choice compared to a small outdoor patio with a pergola just around the corner, with views and nice breeze blowing -- the patio is lovely. The music in the breakfast area should also be changed -- it is not Spanish, and at times just seems silly (example: a jazz version of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" being played in July). If I am in the area again, I would definitely stay here again, perhaps next year if our group comes to the area again.…
Completely understand why this is rated the most romantic hotel in the area! We lazed about on our private terrace with jacuzzi and mountain views. Room Maria Callas is a dream. Service top and Spa massage lovely. Thank you abd hope to return next year!
Stayed here for 1 night. We had a room in the basement which was just a little disappointing to what I was expecting from when we turned up as the building looked amazing. Firstly..the room was immaculately clean and pleasant, however for the price we paid I felt it didn’t meet up to our expectations .. The welcome letter was addressed to someone else ( maybe the previous guest), we wanted to order a bottle of wine in our room but there was no information in the room about room service etc etc so we didn’t order one. There was no information in the room for the WiFi password...i tried to phone reception...no answer...so I walked up to reception..however the man on reception didn’t have a clue what the WiFi password was..however he kindly brought it to our room 15 minutes later and the signal when we got it was very weak.. In the meantime, I had a shower and the handset broke off the wall in my hand so for the rest of the stay We rinsed under the bath tap because the taps were annoyingly complicated and we couldn’t work them ( don’t laugh as there were no instructions on them!!). There was no tea or coffee making facilities, no complimentary water... low quality furniture in the room and not enough of it. The jacuzzi bath on the patio was a real treat, however it took 35-45 minutes to fill and there was only one privacy screen ( giving you privacy only directly to your neighbour) and no privacy to the garden which was not a private garden. Would have been nice to have extra towels by the jacuzzi bath..so had to use previous wet ones we had used earlier. We arrived at breakfast at 10.45am ( a little late I suppose) however the warmers for the food had been turned off..so the scrambled egg, sausages and bacon were stone cold. 😏..oh and breakfast wasn’t included in the £250 room charge but we were charged €3> for a bottle of water out of the mini bar. It would have been lovley to have a little information in the room about th history of the hotel etc. I really don’t want to be negative about this hotel as it could be a fantastic stay if all of the little bits didn’t add up. If I would have paid £80 for this room, I would have been happier however at £250 I was not and didn’t feel that it was worth it sorry. The staff however were very pleasant and courteous.…
