This place is not worth staying at! You can't put your car next to your tent. Need to carry your stuff to the pitch. The pitches themselves are tiny and people have to walk across your space to get to their pitch Loads of teenagers/ kids making noise. Don't bother it's rubbish!!!!

We have camped across Europe but rarely have we ever had the misfortune to spend a night in a place as grim as this. This site is like compressed sardines on the side of a steep hill bordered by a main road. The first place we were offered was actually surrounded on all 4 sides by tents and campers. It... More

Campsites in March are rarely what they claim to be online. Portuondo was not well-signed and it took us three attempts to get into the entrance off a busy road. It was a very steep access down to the motorhome pitches and reception was deserted. We enjoyed the stay, but there were issues - men's toilets had no washbasins and... More

We stayed here for two nights only. We had a late arrival due to our flight into Bilbao and were originally told Reception would be unlocked and instructions left for us there but in fact a nice man greeted us with a torch and showed us where we were staying. The bungalows are small, rather garden shed like but spotlessly... More

As a family of four with two young children (2 and 4) we camped here for a week last June 2014. We found it to be a very well maintained site, with immaculate facilties, hot water and good outdoor BBQ areas. It is a lively campsite that caters for a variety of people with a lovely spanish feel. We felt... More

We stayed for 4 nights at the start of our Spanish trip. Let's get the not so good done first. The campsite is not big, its on a valley and so they have squeezed as many pitches in as possible. So, it's crowded. Also, not much in the way of a views from the pitches. The goods. The facilities are... More

We had planned to rest two day but after one nigth we parted. The place is very clean and the personal is friendly. But: The price is too expensive. 32,- for one night, two adaults, one car and a small tent. Just beheind the campsite is a big road with a lot of circulation. Specially a lot of camions, causing... Having travelled around Northern Spain and stayed at some really good sites,i had booked this because of its position and some good reviews. It was the worst site we stayed at-we were a long way from any facilities on a very scruffy piece of grass and sandwiched between caravans that appeared to be permanent fixtures-some had washing machines in a... We camped with another family at Portuondo and it has many excellent features. The swimming pool is superb and the facilities are clean and look very new. The view from the bar is spectacular and the chicken restaurant is good. The only thing that really let it down were the pitch sizes. Our family sized tents were virtually touching and... More

We stayed for a week in a family bungalow. It was very clean and situated next to the swimming pool which was handy - pool had 2 slides, one for little kids and a bigger one which suited our 3, 8 and 10 year olds great. Overall this is a nice campsite, the views over the sea and lagoon are... More
