Ai Lumi is in a very good location; ideal for tourists wanting to visit Trapani and its province (in particular the islands). The room was very spacious and the restaurant offered good meals (fish) at a reasonable price. The owners (Francesca and Riccardo) were very kind and ready to help when we asked.

I first read about Ai Lumi in an article about Sicily in an Italian magazine. I knew I had to go there. It is quite easy to get there. We parked on the main road at the lungomare, put a euro in the machine for about an hour of parking, and walked the few blocks over to the B&B. It's...

We loved our visit to Al Lumi in the lovely town of Trapani. It provided a great place to stay with our adult children. The rooms are comfortable and ours had a view of the street below and the beautiful courthouse. The owner was helpful and the restaurant attached to the B&B very good. Trapani is well located and close...

What a dream located in the heart of Trapani owned and managed by Riccardo and Francesca. Being a senior Australian lady travelling solo and visiting Sicily for the first time finding such hospitality is wonderful. From the palatial almost hidden entrance to the comfortable rooms and lovely breakfast at the restaurant below...what more could you want. But I got it!...

Ai Lumi is well located in Trapani; from there it was easy for us to drive to sites in Segesta, Selenunte, and Erice (which is very close by and overlooks Trapani). The apartment was clean and well kept and the place is located on a pedestrian zone. The breakfasts were simple, located in a restaurant on the ground level of...

What a funny place! Ai Lumi is a multi-storied collection of rooms facing a central courtyard just off a main pedestrian shopping, restaurant row in Trapani. It's a bit hard to find, as it seems to share a space with another hotel so the signage is somewhat misleading, and you have to enter off the pedestrian area. Parking is blocks...

Thanks Christine for your kind comment. Just a note..The reception closes at 10 pm if all the guests have checked-in. We request to be advised if a later check-in is due and we wait for our guests. Thanks a lot for staying with us. Francesca

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was up 3 flights of stairs and it took an interesting small crane-like contraption to take our suitcase up. The room was very spacious and the air conditioner worked very well, but the bed was small and very hard which made it difficult to sleep. The breakfast located in the hotel restaurant...

We booked this place for one night just for a place to sleep before flying home the next morning. The B and B occupies part of the floor of an old palazzo so there are several other B and B s operating in the same building. Lovely interior courtyard and a comfortable quiet room. Very friendly and helpful owners. Nothing...

A very nice palazzo BB in the central part of Trapani. Lots of shops and restaurants around you. This BB is in a private road, so no cars passes. One can make quite easily evening walking. One of the best BB in Trapani area, just in front of the Cathedral.
