Stunning amazing apartments and views. The Tranquility is mind blowing . The apartments are fully equipped and have outside eating area and outside patio area with sunloungers Alongside sarakanaki beach with great walks to other tiny beaches and bays Definitely hope to return You will need a car
Although the photos and the view are lovely, I cannot recommend this hotel. It is *really* isolated which might be charming if there were either phone service or wifi (there is neither). To make things tougher, the woman charged with managing the property does not speak English so it's really tough communicate. Also, the air conditioning in one of our rooms didn't work -- this during a heat wave -- and the manager was not even on-site to fix it. Although they blame the electric company, she managed to fix it by flipping a switch which seems to place the blame elsewhere. The dog is adorable as is the lovely young man who is there occasionally to translate. It's a slightly dicey 10-minute walk to Sarakiniko which is cool. But if you don't speak Greek and want air conditioning, I'd go elsewhere.…
We enjoyed our stay in the studio. Amazing view, very clean room and beautiful garden. Very quiet and so close to Adamandas. Every day had different Greek traditional breakfast with a great variety of handmade cakes and bread. You can also visit sarakiniko beach following a small path.
We arrived at Milos and Athena (the owner) picked up us at the port and she helped with the car rental. she was really kind. the accommodation looks amazing and refined in details. Hotel structure is facing Sarakiniko bay with an amazing view. the homemade breakfast is simply delicious, with daily cakes, toast and juices! one of the best places ever!
The roadway to get to the hotel is pretty rough and a little scary (particularly when arriving at night!) – However, Athena offered to meet my mother in-law at the gas station nearby to guide her in which was appreciated. The hotel itself is really sweet. The rooms were somewhat small but very well appointed and the hosts are really lovely. Breakfast is limited – you eat what Athena makes for you. However, it was always quite tasty. No WiFi -- so just prepare for that. It’s not a big deal – you’re on a beautiful island. You really can’t beat the price (value for money) and Sarakiniko Beach is really one of the big highlights. It’s nice to be in such close proximity. Although, true to reviews – you can SEE it but you need to drive to get to it. On Milos, you MUST rent a vehicle so this really shouldn’t be a problem for you. I would stay here again.…
Thanks to Athena and her husband we had an amazing stay at this little Bed & Breakfast. Athena home makes all the bread and jams for breakfast and the place comes with a complimentary pouch called Carmella (photo below). Amazing room in a breathtaking location so close the the famous moonscape natural swimming pool (sarakaniko). The only bed and breakfast around so we recommend hiring an ATV to get around. Also try the restaurant in town ‘O’ Hamos’ they serve lamb, goat and dairy from their own local flock. The room has great air conditioning and great amenities. No wifi offered in rooms but you don’t need it when you sit on the balcony enjoying the most amazing Grecian views ever! What an amazing place to stay on an amazing little island. Actually, as many people have said this is a very peaceful place to stay...What else can I say? Marvellous view on Sarakiniko, plunged into silence, only the sound of the wind. Athena & his husband have been extremely kind. They prepared delicious breakfasts. Athena thanks a lot for your fantastic home made bread and marmalades! Our room was nice, comfortable and with a beautyful terrace where at the end of the day you can sip a cup of tea seeing the sun goes down... Say hello for us to your pet dog Cannella See you. We booked this hotel because we thought it was close to the Sarakiniko Beach, but although it is geographically close, access is not that easy, and there is no direct access as there is just one road in the area. Besides, finding the hotel from Adamas port was really difficult even for the GPS! Once there, the woman, who speaks not English at all, although she tries hard, was very kind. However our experience was really bad. We had booked 4 nights but we had to leave after the second: The first night we found that the air conditioning worked very weakly; at night it was cooler outside that inside and this is quite unbearable in summer. Also the shower only had hot water, which is horrible if you visit Milos in August, as temperatures are really high. When we told the woman, she kind of explained that there was no cold water in the island due to its volcanic origins. The previous night we had stayed at Adamas and we had had a lovely refreshing shower with cold water. But the second night was even worst, as the air conditioning of the room beneath made a noise every 30 seconds that made it impossible to sleep. When we asked for help the woman said she couldn't do anything. We were really disappointed as we had a trip the following day and we were looking forward to having a good rest. Unfortunately we did the check out the following day.…
Bad brecfast , no wifi , no value for money , there isn't any soap.it was peacefull .The road which drives to the hotel was awful. It has a private parking. It was near the sarakiniko beache. Near the port.
I will be listing pros and cons: Pros: Very secluded, ideal when seeking a very quiet place Nice view to the sea, though not directly to Sarakiniko beach Home made breakfast by two, kind and polite owners Common spaces of compound and room neat and well maintained Cons: No reception, services or shops in close proximity if you need say water - no go if you don't have a car Dirt road leading to the hotel Very small bathroom and shower (at least the top floor rooms) Very bad bed mattress No choice for breakfast - you have to eat whatever they have prepared that day (all homemade) Expensive, at 90euros for a double room Don't accept credit cards No wi-fi, bad cell reception (not ideal if you are planning on catching up with work while you're there)
